Jay Privman of the DRF reported earlier that Texas Red is back at Santa Anita, and is
scheduled to have a 4 furlong workout on Saturday, March 14, 2015

I read the trainer has Texas entering the Santa Anita derby.......this will be the best match of the weekend on April 4th. I think Dortmund stays undefeated........will be interesting to see if Texas Red can overcome the injury & beat a monster in Dortmund.......IMO, the trainer is crazy to pit Texas Red vs Dortmund after trying to get better from an injury.

Hes better fit for the Arkansas derby.

Sad News about Corey Nakatani .. Bad spill at Santa Anita Race #5. Horse is okay ( Bilger's Sapphire ), but Corey Nakatani was taken off the course in a stretcher, at hospital complaining of collar bone pain.

BREAKING NEWS: Far From Over, the Withers Stakes winner, has been diagnosed with a hairline fracture of his left hind leg and will not only miss Saturday's Grade 1 Wood Memorial, but is off the Derby trail, according to Nick Sallusto, the racing manager for Steven Marshall's Black Rock Stable as well as co-owners Jim Cavello and Sol Kumin.
