One of these in grandma's basement with my cousin. Sadly, I had to go to an antique website to find a picture....

Budweiser. I was about 15 years old and I spit it out. Thought it was so disgusting

One day, my friend and I was working on his car in his backyard. He asked me if I was thirsty and I told him I was. He asked me for a buck and said he'd be right back. He went down to the tavern down the street and ask someone of legal age to get him a container. The guy brought him out a container of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, and we drank it all in his backyard. That's how you got beer to go in those days in Jersey....in a container. There were no 6 packs...just draught beer in a container. Sure tasted good on a hot summer day when we were on vacation.

The first buzz experience for me was my friends dad's home brew. I remember it being thick and almost syrup(y). But damn it was good.

First commercial beer was probably a Bud Light. It seemed to be what we drank almost exclusively after that growing up. It was a switch between Bud Light and Coors Light. Then came Old Milwaukee Light, that was pretty popular especially going into the college years being cheap an all. Do they still make Old Mil' Light anymore?

Since I spent most of my life in Portland, Oregon, I would have to guess my first Beer was Blitz Weinhard which was brewed right in the heart of down town Portland's NW District. Blitz was the best selling Beer for many years in Oregon.
