yeah, she ranks right there with Gilda Radner, Jan Hooks, Jane Curtin and Molly Shannon....but willing to bet , not near as many know who she is...

Jan Hooks is another, who was great, but some may not know....she was awesome in the Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman era...

I don't think you could get a better group than Beluschi, Murray and Chase! No one has ever been better!

When Will Ferrell was in the episode of "casual dress day" at the office I don't remember ever laughing that hard.

He was in a meeting in a thong that is a US flag and a half shirt for casual day

Ed Grimley not only got his own Showtime special but got his own TV show.

Not a character, but the Joe Pesci skit where he goes to a jeweler, doesn't say a word and tries on a ring and mocks yelling profanities into the mirror.

is it just me, or is the show unwatchable nowadays?
Spotty, they'll have a great week, follow it up with a crap week, follow that up with a so-so week.
Mid 70's to early 80's SNL was appointment TV.
Go to the packy on Saturday night, crack open a six pack, and laugh your balls off.
No more.

Mid 90's Chris Elliot was the star, enough said. GE Smith I wanted to smack.
Show almost got yanked, but Breur and Ferrell saved it.
