slap,, cheers man,, I swear, no big deal,,, im just pointing out the hypocrasy,,, we can ask for something to be so,, but the PUBLIC makes things relevant/OR NOT,,,

noone really cares to grow as a handicapper,, its just an ODD crazy truth,,

Its not just here, I see it at all posting forums I frequent. Not much young blood is signing up on forums. I've noticed it for 10 years on gambling forums. The average age on gambling forums has to be around 50. TBH, I usually look in the sport subforums here for angles or info. The college football discussion is the best sub forum on the net, thanks to posters like Rolltide and the WC guys.

Tate, I'm always looking to be a better capper, keep sharing. I just have less time now, but do check in whenever possible.

Ty man.. cheers...
That is a twisted truth on the YOUTH of today.. i toataly think yiur spot on.. young kids are not finding there way to handicaping..

I guess if I wer to be completely honest its probably ESPNs fault?? With Trolls like Jamelle dykeHill.. that Toad was the final nail in the coffin of espn. And i guess that was the "gateway"? To loving sports??

Anyway.. more Losers that find their way here the better we will all do!

This is almost the case EVERY TIME.

biggest example I believe is when Hache or a couple of times, myself post ESPN Insider ( now ESPN+ )

usually the info is interesting, but you get next to nothing in response . ( you get views )

Another example if Hache or another person starts a thread on Odds, series and 5teams over & under total wins

But post something about a Black kid doing something Right or Wrong, you will get 2-5 pages

as far as the sometimes stupid threads started by Runmaker where most of the time he's just talking to himself, if I find them wayyy out there, they are just moved

I still think that the Offshore forum is more of a Non-Sports related sub forum. Movies, Girls and Drama sell here. where most of the Sports related stuff gets talked about in the Sports forums

I know the threads you're referring to that Hache posts. And you're right, people rarely respond. BUT, for me, it's because of what Hache posts in every one of those threads. "No opinion on this, just posting the info". Or whatever he writes. My point is that if he doesn't have an opinion on what he posted then why should I pay any attention to it? I want to hear, "hey guys I found this info and I love it.". "I'm putting $200 on this play and you should follow". That post I would respond to. The way he does it makes me think he's just trying to fulfill a thread starting quota or something.

If you want good threads on betting angles, there is a classic rx threads forum but of course one of the first post is there is some obvious unintelligent dude being racist and everyone thinking it is awesome yet when I give statistics of certain things and all of that I am the bad guy. I must be deemed a threat in my “ racist views” like stormfront is banned in some places because there are intelligent people in there with valid viewpoints yet a site called ni**ermania is not banned at all because mostly it is morons in trailers and good for a laugh I suppose

White good.
Black bad.

Did we miss something?

I post that info because there are several guys here who ask me to.

The reason I add that part about having no opinion is because there have been wise guys in the past who have critiqued me after the fact if the info turns out bad.

And I have also posted my own personal individual threads related to sports and betting here FOR YEARS, and still there are only a few guys here who want to discuss.

Even In-Game threads here get no activity.

Used to also post my plays here which finished with profits every year except one.

We are paid to moderate, not necessarily post.

So there is no quota.

We post because we always have, love sports and the hobby of betting, and simply want to.

There are some Mods across forums who rarely post at all and just do their job behind the scenes.

You really should do a little research before making inaccurate accusations.

So what do I do now?

I post those things at sister-site SBR where they actually do talk sports on the main page.

I wasn't accusing you of anything. I was simply stating why I never responded to them.

They do when posted in the appropriate forum especially during the NFL and CFB.

Ask BAS I'm sure he'll disagree as he's tried in vain as well.

I understand what you're saying at times they do somewhat but not often.

It's like pulling teeth

don't get me wrong, during NFL & NCAAFB those forums are very active. But in the in-game thread, maybe one or two ( monday & sunday night games )
and not always

Yeah, it's always the bigger games only and like you said, usually Sunday or Monday nights.

Well why do you guys think that is?

Equal to or greater traffic than sister-site SBR, yet any in-game thread I/we post over there gets tons of activity, even NBA.

I can't figure out why there's such a difference.

A possibility is that search engines bring up SBR rather the The Rx.. I don't know.

I'm assuming at both places you are posting the in-game threads in the main forum? If that's the case, then perhaps SBR is different because everyone is always hanging out in the main forum while the sub-forums are far less busy. While most of Rx posters here hang out in the appropriate sub-forums during the game and would never see the thread??

IDK. Just a thought..

What are the demographics of each site? I wonder if that makes a difference? I always have viewed SBR as a younger crowd while the RX is older with professional jobs and family etc. I could be way off.

Yeah I believe everyone/all of us have always assumed that.

In reality though they're probably about the same because there are a lot of Old timers there as well.

in-games are being posted in the Main forum at SBR, while the in-games here are posted in their respected Sub-forums

.

+1

Posters there are very similar to the RX
actually after spending a weekend with them last year, I felt that they were more like The RX, say like it was in 2007-2012
