The whole thing is pathetic. If Miami wouldve won all the same people would be on here talking about how Lebron couldnt do it by himself and had to come to miami. Lebron cant win either way so I dont blame him for blowing up in the post game presser. Frankly if your life is better cause Lebron didnt win a basketball game than youre the failure, not Lebron.

The kid is 26, think back to how you acted at 26. And keep in mind from all accounts he is a good dude. He has never been in any trouble. He isn't known to have a gambling problem (jordan) or cheats on his girl (tiger and countless others.) Frankly he seems to be trying to do it the right way. Was "the decision" a little ridiculous, sure but really who cares. It doesnt matter what this kid does 75% of you will never like him cause youre haters.

a reasonable defense for James

In his defense, he is young. Kobe rehabbed his image, maybe LBJ can too.

His 1st step would be to STFU

Why does it have to be about James and Dirk? They each have a dozen teammates who have a say in the outcome. Terry, Kidd, Chandler were arguably as important as DN was. FWIW, I like Lebron but don't care for Wade. I think the majority of Americans, to include black Americans, were rooting against Miami due to their ostentatious showing last year with all of the fireworks and over-the-top production they put on. Plus add Lebrons tv special ... "The Announcement" that many fools went out of their way to watch. In large part he/They did ask for all of this ridicule now.

Lebron had all the love in the world before he quit against the Celtics last season. Since that time he has made bad decisions, tweets, comments, and quit again. Yes, once the hate starts it is hard to stop, but he started it all.

BTW I think Lebron could use a little of MJ's gamble in him.

What is more to life than an NBA Championship for a guy in the NBA who has been playing basketball since he was 5? This is why they play basketball no?

for lebron yes its a disappointment again, but why is everyone so happy about it? thats just ppeople just haten on him.
i have heard lebron say more times that he wants to be a billionaire more times than i have heard him say he wants an nba championship. he wants a ring, but his focus is on more money?

well then, I guess that explains why he took less money to play in Miami, eh?

He is more marketable in an International city like Miami than in Cleveland. That's why his Jersey sales went out the roof this year even though the the haters didn't like it. International tourists arrive into Miami and purchase that ** Lebron James** Miami Heat Jersey** #6..***they gotta have it

he is winner financially. he left his team and city to play for a team that was bought for but still did not win a championship so this year again he is a loser in basketball. he wanted a title more than money this year.

does anyone really want to argue his actions and his words are going to increase his endorsement revenues now? seriously? is that why he's such a bitter man?

he went to Miami to win championships, PERIOD.

his reputation is taking hits on both the professional & personal levels. The words he chooses to speak will not land him more endorsements.

If it were about endorsements boys, he's playing in NEW YORK CITY, not Miami. Unless, of course, he's trying to reach that Cuban market. LOL

You seem a bit animated. You sure you wanna call LeBron bitter? People on here act like LeBron killed their 1st born.

I dislike both LeBron and Tiger Woods. Though it seems that something stupid comes out every time he opens his mouth, I dislike LeBron mostly because I can't stand 'ring whores' in general- I didn't like Roger Clemens or that Lakers team with Malone and Payton either, among many others. As for Woods, I mostly can't stand him because of his fanboys. His fan base is mostly the type that would cheer for the Yankees, Cowboys and Duke basketball. Woods also seems to be one of the most arrogant pricks on the face of the earth, so I don't like that either.

LOL, what did I defend? I think he's acted like an idiot several times (decision, celebration Celts series, "pep rally" when he said they would win 8 rings, the Dirk coughing thing) but c'mon hes just an athlete. Some of y'all act like he killed the president.

I'm not defending anything, this dudes 26 year old and can still be 1 of the best of all time. He got his comeuppance but the vitriol towards him is a little strong.

Defending? please...

5 mins ago I texted my friend that now I know why LeBron didn't go to college, he doesn't showup to finals.

This dude plays basketball for a living, he's not Sarah Palin.

What's even worse that none of you have mentioned is I wonder how LeBron feels knowing Delonte West banged his mom.
