+1....Lebron James has a life to live and these folks just don't have anything else to live for..lol. Any man in his right mind would leave Cleveland for Miami especially if you are wealty. I don't have no where near the money as Lebron James but I would take a pay cut to leave Cleveland for Miami.
You just don't get it either. It's not just that James left Cleveland as I agree 100 %. What most people didn't like is the manner in which He pretty much rubbed their face in it by his phony " The Decision " show. I don't hate Lebron as I really don't care that much. I just wanted Dallas to beat the pompous James. Next year I will most likely be rooting for him as He is probably going to be one of the biggest stars in the NBA for some time to come and like Tiger is good for the Sport.

not only that, after the decision brought a lot of criticism, he blamed such on racism.

then they have this South Beach Party where he's boasting about winning multiple championships (at least 8?), when he hasn't won one

his behavior on the court has worsened as he feeds the hatred

he mocked Dirk's illness

he's bashing fans after the loss (he doesn't know that without NBA fans, he would be a poor poor man. He obviously was not blessed with IQ)

he had a nation's love, he tossed it aside and continues to trample it

Yes, I agree 100 %. He's pretty much bashing the very hand that feeds him. Lebron doesn't get it and neither do those fans that think He is a God. He's old enough to wake !

Funny thing is some of you guys actually compared this guy to Michael freaking Jordan BWWWAAHHHHH.

Dirk being compared to Bird, although not a comparison, is so much more realistic that L James to Jordan.

"The Greater Man upstairs know when it's my time. Right now isn't the time."

Wonder if LeBron knows it should be "knows".

Great discussion by ESPN crew after the game. They (primarily Wilbon) said many of today's players would rather be famous than champions.

Also said too many young players take coaching as criticism, instead of opportunity to improve.

Wilbon said there are only two up & comers who have shown desire to improve their game --- Rose & Durant.

Also liked Jon Barry's comment, that LeBron has never been coached at any level.

lots of hate on Lebron, but there is more to life than winning an nba championship.
But also he is 26 years old? I will be shocked if he never gets a ring

What is more to life than an NBA Championship for a guy in the NBA who has been playing basketball since he was 5? This is why they play basketball no?

Think this is stretching it a bit. Of course Chris Paul and Nowitzki and guys like that are always trying to improve. That's a dumb statement.

I go back to the Olympics. Coach K flat out didn't want LeBron on the team. Told the organizers he couldn't be or wouldn't be coached. All the other NBA superstars respected Coach K and wanted to listen and learn except for that turd.

He was talking about the younger generation. Younger than Nowitzki & Kobe.

I don't think Wilbon is that off-base. Until recently (last 10-20 years), NBA players didn't have much to do during off-season. So they played hoops 5-6 days/week, they worked out. Guys would even play in the top city summer-leagues (DC, Chicago, LA, NYC).

Now they have more money, more opportunities, more stuff to do. They travel, they shoot commercials, they increase awareness of their personal brand.

What about Andrew Bynum --- delayed off-season surgery so he could travel. You think that would fly during the Bird/Magic era?

It is pretty bad when you sign a guy like LeBron, and the biggest negotiation isn't money, years of contract, etc. No, the biggest negotiations are:

1) Team's travel schedule, in order to accommodate LeBron's party schedule
2) Access for LeBron's entourage

Miami actually stayed in some cities an extra night, just so LeBron & crew could party.

I don't know if the LeBron hate is rooted in racism but I can definitely see how all these losers taking joy in Tiger Woods' losses can be seen as racist. They are pathetic. "Tiger ain't catching Nicolaus now bitches."

They are pathetic. It makes them feel good I guess even though Tiger is the millionaire who's drowning in pussy.

For what it's worth, I hate Rebecca Black too. And American Idol.

Come on, this is the Internet. We're supposed to be grumpy.

Anybody hear Van Gundy's comment last night? He was talking about the video with Wade & Lebron coughing, making fun of Dirk.

Van Gundy said he didn't buy Wade's excuse --- Van Gundy said they wouldn't do that to Dwight Howard, Paul Pierce.

Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions --- but Van Gundy seemed to imply that DwyBron thought it was funny to mock the goofy white German.

The interesting social dynamic about this situtation is that the NBA is full of black players, and it is a black writer like Wilbon who recognizes that NBA players would rather be famous than a champion.

Compare it to the NHL, the league you love to hate, and try to deny that the NHL is full of white players, who would much rather be a champion than be famous.
