Can't remember any bad calls by tdawg. Other than getting "Lucky" hitting that ACE on the river, I think he played a perfect game. :aktion033

THanks Rude. My problem will be "discipline" and "getting bored". I think that was half of Choptalk's problem. He played so much that he probably just ran out of gas and/or interest. That being said...Im now at 44942782 for my 2nd tournament. :drink:

Good luck on this challenge! From what I have seen playing with you, your discipline is pretty good as you know when to call and when to fold... i.e. the one hand above where you had 73o that u preferred to fold (of course, depending on just exactly how many chips you had over the other person).

In any case, I am hoping that there are less railbirds yakking their way on how you should have played. GL!

That's the one problem I see too. For example, that tourny you just played, I could not play more than 2 or maybe 3 of those a day. At that rate, would take about a month or so to hit the 100 games.

Keep it simple, 1 or 2 a day or every few days and you will cash. I have no doubt.

My guess is you hit 59 or 60 out of the 100. :youmad: Good Luck! :103631605

WVU, can I do this at fulltilt? If so then we have a bet! Did you really offer 10 to 1 odds?

I bet $100 to win $1000

PO69, yeah, WVU did offer 10-1 odds to Chop originally as well as RoyalFan... and then when Chop was not doing well early, he had a lapse of judgment and offered 50-1 odds for mopisgood.

I'm sure WVU will be stopping entertaining offers if NCAA Specialist and/or RoyalFan start off well. Though, I think with you placing 1st in a live tourney winning $100K+ automatically disqualifies you... just kidding!! :)

Actually, my sit-n-go record is pretty bad, but most of those are the $100-200 sit-n-gos. I doubt that I can do it either, but the 10:1 is nice. I would only give myself a 33% chance of winning even 45 of them.

And Calvin, LIVE TOURNAMENTS ARE TOTALLY different than playing on the net!!! In a live tournament you can read your opponents much easier

I was just pulling your leg, PO69, really. I do know what you mean, though.

2-0 Nice start!
His record really is already better than that if we were to count some of the games last week (of course I'm not saying to count them, grins)... I played with him 3 times, I think... once at a 10-seater in where we both tanked but at the 6-seaters, I was 3rd both times and he cashes in both. He also had mentioned several other 2nd places. So he's doing good... :toast:

I made a bad call of an all in raise against a guy who I thought was tilting since he had just gotten sucked out on. I had KQ suited to his 7's and he spiked a 7 on the flop. Big hand of the tment.

Tournament 3 - Finished 5th

Cashes - 2

Non-Cashes - 1

This is seriously going to be hard

Hmm, I had an eye on your table while watching the Kansas game.

He was short-stacked and yea, while he pushed, it was for about half of your chips (admittedly a little big call)... but with KQ diamonds, and thinking he was tilting... I would have made that call as well!

Then of course, his 77 holds up... and few hands later, you pushes with KQo and that same person happens to have AKo and getting the A on the flop for insurance.

I don't see how you could really have escaped from that particular SnG, really. Good effort.

Yeah man, he had just had KK and got sucked out on against someone who had A5. If that is me, Im fuming a little and I guess thats why I called his all-in for like 900 the next hand. In a normal situation, I think there is no way I call that since that hand can easily be dominated or I have a race on my hands. I guess I was hoping he had KJ or K10, I dont know...it happens.

I took the challenge as well and REALLY dont think that I can do it, but there is a SERIOUS overlay in the odds here. The true odds should be around 3 to 1 for most players.

I am a RRAL bad SNG player, I play better in tournaments but thought that I would give it a shot

Good luck to you, Ill keep my eye on it. I totally disagree with what you said though, 3-1 odds are not even close for a challenge like this. They should actually probably even be higher than 10-1. I just saw your thread that said 5's beat your q's. That shit happens all the time and you need to be able to overcome stuff like that AND play solid ALL the time. This is far from an easy challenge, even for very good players.
