Yep. Know who else was busting their ass? The dude on the line making $12.50

Know who else is gonna bust their ass? The dishwasher who stays TWO HOURS after you leave to wash your dishes for a grand total of about 20 bucks.

True, but they can apply to serve also.

Nothing easy about serving, if you're a good server. Anyone can do it, not all are server material.

it takes all kinds to keep the machine running. Most cooks are not FOH material, just like most servers would die trying to pull off one BOH shift. I don't see either being significantly more (or less) valuable than the other.

Like I said, the kitchen work was easy. Actually fun. Mostly just fucking around with buddies.

Staying two hours after to wash dishes? Lmao. You've never really worked at a restaurant if you think that much time and care is being put into cleaning the dishes.

The movie "Waiting" is pretty much 100% true to life as to what goes on at a restaurant.

You're an idiot. Flat out. Just wrong, as always.

Maybe it wasn't like that at Chucky Cheese where you worked in high school, but that's how it is in real restaurants.

Where did you wait tables in high school Justin? You have to be 19 to serve booze in Indiana, so you weren't at a real restaurant.

We served alcohol. Either the rules were different then or they just didn't give a fuck I guess.

Not sure what you mean by real restaurant? like a 5 star steakhouse? Obviously as a high school student I wasn't trying to make a career out of it. Just a part time job for play money at a casual joint.

Could be more of a personality thing. I'm not much on ass kissing rude customers. So maybe that's why I found kitchen work so much more enjoyable. Plus three of my best friends worked in the kitchen so all we really did was fuck off and figure out what we were getting into that night.

To answer original question. I would def tip a mobile groomer.

For the most part, all the tipping doesn't bother me. I tip well. Especially for good service.

My one tipping pet peeve is that I refuse to tip when I pick up carryout orders at restaurants. What exactly are you tipping for in that situation
