two labs for descriptive astronomy i have left.

i had an A cumulative for my exams which is 40 percent of my grade, and an A + cumulative for my homework, and at the moment an A cumulative for lab work.

if i skip the final two labs I'll drop down to a C average, but it wont matter since I'll have a cumulative A grade.

would you do the two final labs?

Yes I would stay in the class, knowledge is power. Plus I'm guessing you paid to take the class, so make good use of your investment.

obviously im going to stay in the class. this is a non major class though and these labs are a pain.

skipping two labs in an elective course when he's already proven to excel at it in no way indicates that his future is shaping up to be a letdown, lol...

as for me, gtc, just scope out your priorities and order them as YOU see fit. i'm currently in finals week and for two of my classes i need only a 50% on two of my tests to maintain and A in these courses. i'm not going to be at those last two classes for the sake of giving myself more time to devote to the more important classes. whoever wants to, feel free to call me lazy or question my work ethic lol.

There is absolutely no way I would attend if this is a course that you will not need knowledge for your future profession. Does he really need Astronomy knowledge if that has nothing to do with his chosen field? People need to lighten up. Go enjoy yourself, you earned your A.

i did want to wait until i got my paper graded, which is 10 percent of my grade.

heres my breakdown:

paper: 9.5/10 .095 10 percent of grade
homework: 25.67/25 .2567 25 percent of grade
exams: 40/40 .40 40 percent of grade
if i dont do the 2 final labs: 24.64/32 .1925 25 percent of grade

so if i dont do the 2 final labs ill finish at .9442, an A.

if i do the 2 final labs i might finish at .9600, an A.

i think no reason to do the 2 labs. makes no sense.

Of course it makes no sense to do it. If you already have an A there is no point putting in extra work. Its all about putting in the least time to still get an A

Glad this is your last post - you are a complete clown. It's an elective class - it means NOTHING. Looks to me like he has done pretty well in it already as well. He may be better off resting up for other finals or studying something that actually matters to him - did you ever think of that?

This "freshman" has two degrees and has probably accomplished more in his short life than you have in your long life. Age doesn't equate to wisdom asshole (judging from your posts I would say you don't even a have a GED) but I wouldn't expect you to know this.
