Cum on, what is life, a fleeting few years/moments and then you go to eternity.
Why cling to it so dearly. It's not like it's hundreds, thousands or millions of years.

That's not how I read this proposition. I thought the question was literally whether you would give your life. As in, that's it, it's not a maybe thing. You die, the other person lives or you live and the other person dies. Taking a risk and saving someone is not the same thing. I'd risk my life in the right situation, but if it came down 100% giving my life, no I would not.

my parents (stupid but I coudn't watch them die)
