Sergio didn,t back into anything....:discuss:

Damn straight he didn't! :missingte

But seriously, the fact someone even thought about laying 2-1 here is crazy given SG's Sunday history.

It's too bad too. I like the kid, and he's definately got game. He just doesn't seem to have the mental make-up to handle Sunday pressure.

Love that Michelob Ultra commercial too btw.

Can't win them all(Sergio 33-1). At least I made a nice profit on the playoff. Enjoyed the thread and the next major(Southern Hills) is in my home state. I know this course very well. Look for Anthony Kim and Hunter Mahan to play well, as they have played this course more than anybody.

Apparently a typical Sergio whining interview in the press room coming up in a minute on the golf channel. Watch to see what an ass this guy is.

LOL, Sergio commenting on that fact that he always has bad luck like the ball hitting the stick and not going in. "I am playing against more than just the guys on tour" WTF, what a loop job. Did he realize had it not hit the stick it would have rolled well off the green.

He was mad he had to "wait a half hour on 18 while trying to win a major" because of the partial jam of golfers there.

He knows he's a choker-just doesn't want to admit it. Can't blame him-he'll get over the hill though.

Actually he was partially right on that in that the guy that had to rake the bunkers for some reason took a long time. But there is no reason to bitch about that in a press conference particulary if you just shot a 72 you would have won.

TTinco, honestly not sure that he will win a major. This guys as mental a golfer as the game has ever seen. From all indications he's not a great guy personally which could mean continued bad Karma.

I came away with a different impression of Sergio; I think he will definitely win a major or two in his career. True, he gave this one away but so did his soon to be father-in-law and he came back and won 2 Opens. Sergio will learn from this defeat and will definitely win a major in the future.

Sergio will never win a major.

he had his chance. 3 shot lead coming in, a putt on 18 to win even after a not very good round. He blew it.

sure put me down.

Did you hear his comments afterwards? He claims that he's playing versus more than the field. Forget the rest of the tour, he's up against some mental demons as well
