So... lets say this Tara Reade story stayed the same, with the exception it was Trump she accused of doing that in a hallway of one of his towers in 1993.... What would the Media, #metoo, democrats and the Dafinch's of the world be doing about this accusation?
I'm not disagreeing that the media is playing it soft for Joe. I don't like Biden and this is just the cherry on top. The story is being covered,... somewhat, and the last I have read about it is they were going to find the Senate complaint from the 90's.... but that the details were questionable.... but then the latest is that someone in the Senate has the complaint, but won't release it.
If it was Trump? Well we already know: They played the tape of him saying "grab em by the puss" again and again and again. And before that story could get traction, Wikileaks released more Clinton emails, the media turned its attention to that, and the rest is history. As I have said repeatedly: I've never voted for a Clinton in my life. The first time I was old enough to vote, I voted for Bob Dole over Clinton. In 2016, I voted down-ticket only and voted to re-elect my republican state senator among others.
I will concede your point that the media sucks at its job. However, just because the media is bad at it's job doesn't immunize Trump for his words/actions.
Trump has done enough on his own to lose my vote. He's clearly an idiot. I mean, come one, he can't even close an open umbrella but he's going to close a deal for peace in the middle east? or a trade deal with China?
His own coronavirus taskforce recommends all people wear masks in public. But when Trump goes to a mask factory, where all of the workers are wearing masks, and the company policy is to wear masks? What does Trump do? He puts on protective eyewear.
Now, depending on who Biden chooses for VP, I might vote for Joe. I don't think Trump or Biden would complete another 4 year term and we probably end up with Pence or (?) for the last 2 years.
