middle...at 3.5 and 5

assuming u can get the storm tonight at
+5...lets start it up

will have to continue next year to end bet because of amount of games left but we can start this eve with that game

how much

So I'm only getting the 4. Then we're really talking -3.5/+4.5. That is not profitable -110 and will not hit more than 1 in 20. Nice try. You changed the rules.

Rob,
I (and I am sure FH) am not saying Boston should cover this number. I think what he is getting at (and myself) is if they open this at -3.5 it cant go anywhere but up, esp with the Boston (key reason) being a huge public side and a few other reasons. Setting up a profitable middle/scalp.

Just seemed like a no brainer for anyone who tries to forecast line movement for scalps and middles. I thought the exact same thing as I seen it when it first popped up the other day (at -3.5) and I thought man if this was 2 years ago I would be all over Boston -3.5 as I was almost positive that it would have closed at least a point or more higher than that. No worth it nowadays (at least to me) trying to move money to jump on stuff like this.

Cardsfan---if you were to allow anyone and everyone to lay -3.5 and take +5 in the NBA with you, in due time you would be deeply in the red.

Your asking how much would some bet on this with you is dependent on that person and their overall bankroll..........

yeah...no shit fish

Sorry, from your previous posts it seemed like you felt this wasn't a profitable side/middle propostion, when it fact it's a huge overlay for the player playing those numbers.

No, just consumer staple items for the most part.

Speaking of Walmart, agree with Jeff Macke of Fast Money and still feel there is upside potential in this stock for the remainder of the year.
