How much is riding on your 1.5 point middle?

Personally I don't bother with middles unless they are at least 2 full points,
or if less the juice is no more than 5c to each half point. In BKL, e.g.
-3.5 -105 & +5 -110 would be borderline doable.

BTW, nice to see an Rx legend posting again.

-3.5-105/+5-110 is insanely profitable.

Really? How many times in 100 does the fav win by exactly 4 or 5 points?

And if you are guessing which way the line will move beforehand, how
often does it go the wrong way? How much does this cost you in juice
& or getting middled yourself if you then play the other side?

bet u dont hit 1 outta the next 10 u bet...

u wanna wager?

At -110/-105 and assuming half you will hit are middle and half are side, you only need to hit more than about 1 in 20, not 1 in 10. Fish in a barrel. Off the charts profitability. Do it often and do it large. Of course I don't think it's so easy to do these days like it was 4,5,6+ years ago.

And college offers more opps than pros.

Each number is, I believe, roughly between 3.5-4%. There are other factors, but that's a ballpark. 4 is not as good as 5 either. Rather have 6 and 7.

A middle, or a middle or side? Gimme 2 numbers and I'll hit one more than 1 out of 20 e-z.

1.5 points is profitable even at -110. With a few cents reduced juice it is printing money.

At 2 full points {e.g. -8.5 & +10.5} with -110 on each side you'ld need to
hit 1 in 21 just to break even. With only 1.5 points it would be more like
1 in 15. I doubt there is much if any profit in the latter. The former will
definitely be a money maker, though.

Both still profitable, but the latter is obviously much more profitable. The pennies juice are huge.
