Is the number of members here declining? Just seems oddly quiet here over the last few months. Still interesting things to read, just seems like a lot less threads being posted compared to years past. Very difficult year to bet baseball too which I'm guessing is contributing to the lack of activity in the offshore forum. I'm not much of a complainer , don't get me wrong I love this site it just seems a bit dead lately, hopefully it's just a slow time of year.

It shows you how much difference one single poster can make.
You not only lose the post from bas, you lose the post his post would have created.
This place needs 3 or 4 more posters like him to bring this place back.

A "daily drawing card" to draw posters...
RX needs to get their head outta their ass.
Make the contest nice and easy - maybe something that requires a poster to come to the forum a couple times.
Other places do this.
And of course no mods creating any threads at all. If their are say 4 mods and they each post 4 threads here a day simply, place would synergisticly get busier. These would be simple threads, odds to win something, an article from the sports section, a simple question etc........,

I could think of a min of 7-10 Contests that should be going on during Both NCAA and NFL.
So there will no lack of Contests here at The RX.
its just the time of year... sure if you go back, 2011, 2010, 2009, youll see a thread like this.... baseball is just a slow season...

Giving away a $1500 entry to the Hilton Super Contest, I think that shows theRX is fne with spending money on contest... my opninion could be skewed though
Glad to see it. But as far as generating traffic, probably 30 -- 50 dollar cash contests would generate way more traffic.
