Being The Experienced And Current Las Vegas Bartender That I Am,
Trust Me When I Tell You We Remember. It Will Take A Non-tipper 3 To
4 Times Longer To Catch The Same Buzz As A Tipper (maybe Longer
Depending On The Drink). So It's Either A Buck Or Two Or It's 3 Times
8 To 12 Extra Dollars To Get To Point B(point Of Intoxication) With
The Other Good Boys And Girls (tippers)!

[h=1]Couple leaves $100 tip for horrible service[/h]
Took 20 minutes to get water, 40 minutes for an appetizer and over an hour for our entrée. People all around us were making fun of the restaurant and how bad the service was," she wrote.
But the server was juggling 12 tables plus the bar on an obviously short-staffed night.
"I said to Steven, wow, this used to be us. Waiting tables. I don't miss it at all and I never loved that job. I did it for the tips. Steven and I agreed it would feel good to make this guy's night when he would probably be getting minimal to no tips due to slow service," Schultz wrote.
Schultz posted a photo of their receipt from the night, with a $100 tip and a note about "paying it forward." They left before their server could notice.

That's really cool !, I just hope the intended recipient received it !

I'm a pretty decent tipper, in most cases. I like to incorporate $2 bills into my tipping.

Just yesterday I took a taxi from the nearby grocery store to home, called a cab , ( have no car, can't really drive ).

The local taxi drivers aren't used to getting tips. The ride from the supermarket to home comes up between $4.50-$ 5.20 on the meter. I always give up a $5 bill and a $2 bill .

My favorite driver , Tom, asks me if I want change on a $4.50 fare, from $7, and basically brings the bulk of my groceries into my kitchen.

My tip is to get your bank to order you some $2 bills, they are still current money, and are great for tips !

I always have some around !

Not even a $2.13/hour waitress ?
which ones makes 2.13? Do you ask them to determine the tip? Not all servers make 2.13 . That's an urban legend. Why is it your obligation to pay the salary for people in that industry? I think your question confirms its guilt based and not based on service or anything else.

i shake my head with disbelief at the number of fools who tip at every turn and the amounts are even more foolish. most of these people begging for tips have bad attitudes and generally wish the players to lose so why give them any tip?

In Las Vegas some hotel rooms have the toke envelope for maids on the desk.

It's called "The envelope please" express your gratitude a campaign inspired by Maria Shriver and a woman's nation.

Your room attendant makes every effort to ensure your comfort while you are away from home. Please feel free to use this envelope to express your gratitude "person-to-person."

Certainly this tipping stuff is out of control but there must be many suckers who continue throwing away money tipping too much and too often.
