Why do I keep seeing people spell the words "night" and "doughnut" incorrectly?

hand job or blow job?

I mean seriously if she sucks it a little but mostly uses her hands, but does catch it in her mouth, can that really be a blow job? I need this for a billing disagreement I recently encountered......

Dude, it's easy if you think of it this way.

Their means possession. "Their truck is black."
There means location. "The dog ran over there."

That's it.

Easiest way to remember.

(T)here.

The word here is part of the word there.

I can accept a there instead of a their occasionally, just a slip and it is an internet chatroom with looser language standards. Same with your for you're....kind of shorthand.

I don't get the apostrophe "s" over usage however. That isn't shorthand !

Hey Tony, do you want to go get taco's for lunch ?

Walmart has sock's on sale today !

Those are just examples of poor English skills that cannot be excused by calling it shorthand since it takes longer to type in incorrectly.

then and than kind of bug me.

But I'll let get a to instead too.

I'm no English major or anything...but I try to speak and write decently .

My wife has horrible language skills. The one "word" that makes me cringe is her word wertn't

Wertn't the Eagles a great band ?

she says stuff like " Nobody didn't call did they ? " I don't even know how to answer that.

she axes me to spell very simple words for her, she axed me how to spell scared the other day, I tell her, she wants to spell it with a K, OK fine dumb bitch spell it with a K if you want....leave me the fuck alone ! If I'm not sure of the spelling, I'll look it up.

definitely always gets me ! I think of define and want to put the e in there instead of an i but also blow the ending every time, I try not to use the word in printed form just liker I never say Worcestershire sauce.

D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y

The correct spelling is definitely.
Not definately.
Not definatly.
Not definantly.
Not definetly.
Not definently.
And certainly not defiantly.
The correct spelling is definitely.

As long as it's not in any type of academic or professional document I don't see the huge deal. The American public is dumb.

This was exactly my problem until a few years ago....one of my co-workers had to pull me aside and say "fuck man, stop spelling seperate, there is a rat in separate"

They are both spelled correctly:
Donut is an alternative spelling used in America
nite is an informal spelling.

so what is up with people that use the apostrophe "s" aotomatically when anything is plural instead of just adding an "s" ?

let's get some tacos, not taco's

Doug's wife is a BITCH, the 's is proprt here.

the 's when not called for bugs me.
