there are a lot of names in hockey - but being a L.A. Kings' fan one comes to mind ASAP - one of the all-time greats of the game, #16 in your scorebook and the center on one of the most lethal lines in NHL history, "The Triple Crown Line" (flanked by Dave Taylor and Charlie Simmer)

Marcel Dionne

In other sports (names not mentioned):

NFL: Barry Sanders
MLB: Don Sutton
NBA: Charles Barkley and John Stockton

Didn't Sutton win with LA in '81? I'd take Ted Williams; without steroids Bonds has about 425 HR's and retired three years ago.

Marino..Guy came to play and gave his all..

Barkley..the same..

Off topic..Marinos fake spike in the meadowlands a few years back was brilliant..Maybe the easiest TD pass of his career..Of all his exploits, thats the one I remember..

Pujols is better. Derek Lee, when his career is over, may be a hall of famer too.
MarK McGwire clearly was better.

Pitchers have absolutely sucked over the past decade or so...if anything pitching has fallen off....if they're on juice why can't they finish games compared to 20 years ago?

You really think you can name 6 first baseman better than Don Mattingly was?

Mattingly was as good as anyone in his prime for his era.....back in the 80' when 30 homers meant something.
