Mahomes has 24 total Td's through week 7

Manning had 26 at this point in his record breaking year

And Mahomes is a rookie. Simply ridiculous

Dude, the debate won't be settled this year. Mahomes is having a great year, and you act like a child

Mahomes is in his second year, not a rookie. Although he looks great i still think he is getting the benefit of amazing play makers around him and HOF coach. His athleticism is sneaky good but for me i have seen this from the chiefs and Andy Reid before....so we can wait and see. his numbers are also a little inflated imo because he has played below average defenses. Its not his fault, you just play who you play and he has looked good. Cant crown the guy just yet although he is better than i would have thought. to me id still rather have wentz.

We actually have never seen this before. Andy Reid has produced good qb's but not to this level

And I would say his numbers are inflated because of how bad his own defense is, not because they have played bad defenses

I agree about the weapons. I think he would take a substantial hit if Hill were injured. Hill is the most crucial piece to that offense. Even if he doesn't have a blowup game he is forcing the defense to gameplan against him

we actually have. actually it was last year. for the first five games alex smith had the same record. higher completion percentage, no picks and a higher passer rating. colin cowherd showed the graphic, i dont know what the last 2 weeks have done but the chiefs were 5-0 last year through the first five games just like this year. alex smith was an mvp candidate and was completing 76.6% of his passes. had thrown 11 tds without an int and had a passer rating of 125.8....so we have seen it before...maybe not at this young but from the same team even

Alex Smith had TEN fewer tds to this point in the year. Not really a comparison

I don't think anyone is denying that Mahommes is in a great spot. But hes also a phenomenal talent

There is no doubt Allen has the most ability .

But ability is not everything .

Drew Brees and Tom Brady don’t have the physical skill of probably 25 other starters in this league but both are all time greats

How does Allen have the most ability?

I like him and hes in a shit situation but I don't see how you can say he no doubt has the most ability

Trubisky?

Seriously though Goff/Mahomes/Wentz, can't go wrong with either. I am aware that's a cop out.

Gun to head I'm taking Goff. Could easily change as Mahomes body of work becomes more extensive.

Trubisky has been looking pretty damn good

I'm surprised Greenbacks hasn't rated this thread one star

Is he the one doing it? I wouldn't think it's him, never thought he had some issue with me but I could be wrong

The Chiefs do have some of the very best skilled players at every skill position. Talent helps, and their YAC is collectively off the charts.

Let's give it some time, and I say that about everyone

Mahomes now has more td passes in his first 10 games than anyone else in NFL history

The debate is over, the next decades of their careers won't matter, neither do teammates or the system

Put him in the HOF already, doesn't have to wait until retirement

cheersgif
