Yeah.....conservative economics have really done wonders for this country. We should go back to that.

What im saying is purely truth and backed up by facts. All you gotta do is look at every poll for the last decade and it proves exactly what I say...... But why bother with that when you can just use the word conjecture.

Well, except the Reagan Presidency refutes everything you're saying.

You mean the republican deregulation that helped caused the economic collapse

Except there was zero "deregulation" of anything. You really shouldn't talk about this topic because you don't understand it at all.

I deal in facts and if those are talking points in your eyes.....oh well....but that's become the rallying cry down here.

The last time you tried to assert that "deregulation" led to some economic collapse you linked to a blog. Not only did you link to a blog but the guy at the blog never claimed what you said he claimed.

"Facts"

Hilarious.

Politics, sports, gambling, and life.....I'm smarter than you in all of those things.....always will be.
I have to admit that was funny.

Rule of thumb however .... If you have to tell people how much money you have, you probably have very little. If you have to tell people how great you are at sports betting, you probably aren't very good at it.
Maybe you can see where this is going?:toast:

The Republicans have no one to blame but themselves for people like Vitt spouting that stuff Ace.

When you have politicians with an R next to their name that are for Big Gov't creating artificially low interest rates, expanding home ownership programs rapidly and fucking with education/health care (or maybe not totally for it, but not doing enough to prevent it either) then you're bastardizing the term conservative/free market to the point that people stop believing it is the correct economic solution/philosophy.

It's like they fucked themselves by bastardizing capitalism to the point some loon that is a socialist actually has a little support in his run for president.

on social issues yes! the country has changed, a guy like Ted Cruz and his over the top right wing stance on social issues gives him absolutely no chance. None.

Since 2008, Democrats have lost control of 30 state legislative chambers—totaling 910 seats—and 11 governorships - and the US House & Senate. Note that the Democrats are currently at a historic 188-member low in the US House.

Your posts are nothing but dumb, no thought at all, talking points.

Agree. GW Bush was a big government President. He had to trade off some of that to get want he wanted regarding Iraq. But he was a "compassionate conservatism" big government guy, regardless.

FYI: In 1997, Clinton signed a reduction in capital gains tax rate to 20% from 28%. GDP then grew by 4.2% a year

Here is where it gets interesting. The Dems do very well with people under 40, even educated/smart/ people that are under 40. I believe on income levels the 2 parties are = when you base it on people under 40. Well if you're under 40, the only "conservative economics" that you've known in your whole adult life is the housing crisis/bust, the rich getting extremely richer while everyone else struggles (thanks fed), MASSIVE education costs, high taxes, increasing cost of living. Suddenly other alternatives start to look pretty good.

I think this philosophy is fading and people are waking up but it is pretty damn obvious why the Rs have sucked at getting young people with $ to vote R in general elections.

Apparently you don't know people with money and people who win. They all tell you how much they have.....in fact, the nitwit you're touting for next president always tells people how much money he has, how he's a winner and others are losers.

Can you see where this is going now?

Obviously the times make the man just as much as vice versa too. Clinton had that internet wave that carried his economic record. The rise of technology in the 90s spurred most of his growth. I probably could've been president then and I'd be looked upon favorably.

So then his economic record is great, Bush record isn't and you get this idea (Scott's boyhood hero Donald J. Trump even was ignorant enough to say it) that the "economy just seems to run better with Democrats"

In a world where everything is short-term thinking, people don't view the policies just the results. Even though many different variables aside from the guy at the top go into those results.

I think the rest of the country is beginning to catch on to what I've thought for a while. At one time, I just believed dimocraps merely differed on how to get things done in this country.

I no longer think that. In fact, I know that isn't true. These people hate this country, hate personal responsibility, and hate anything and everything that is honest, wholesome and good. Their goal is to tear it all down, and anything which helps them accomplish that goal is welcomed. Anything short of complete control over every single aspect of our lives is not good enough for them. Obstacles to their Utopian vision such as personal freedoms must be removed.

They are deceivers, liars and murderers. You've got to be pretty fucking dense if you cannot see that at this point. The Democratic Party at one time used to have some principles....but I just can no longer believe that. They've turned into dimocraps.

They are a cancer, a disease. Every social and political problem we have can be traced directly to one of their ill-conceived their policies, all of which are assaults on the American family, and the American way of life and our Constitution.

They will never stop trying to destroy this country. I predict the next Civil Rights type movement in the U.S. will be trying to get our freedoms back. It's going to result in another Civil War. Call it Revolution 2.0. Maybe not in my lifetime, but it will happen.

I wouldn't care if Trump ran as a democrat. Fiscally responsible government shouldn't be a left or right thing. Ya the gop says they are, but they aren't. If doesn't even have to be Trump. Someone that is a leader who can get these incompetent fucks in congress to get shit done rather than blame each other and rack up the debt. The only one I can see fits that is Trump. Is that so crazy wanting a leader in the white house?

As far as "liberal" or "conservative" issues go, you can't pin me down to being a blowhard for either side. I agree with what makes sense to me ... not what I should think based on the two agendas, That's another reason why Trump is appealing to me and a lot of others.

LOL no. I meant someone posting anonymously on a forum. Come on Pats!!

Trump thinks everyone is stupid, dumb and a loser. He is the greatest and has all the answers.

Kinda reminds me of someone who used to post here. If Trump drops out of the race, maybe you can just write in AK?

I agree with everything you said JDeuce.

They just looked at Hillary's top 30 donors and 21 of them have Manhattan or DC zip codes. Democrats are the party of corrupt government/crony capitalism.

In a sense yes, but ideas and policies do matter.

Even if Trump appealed to me because of his bravado, I still wouldn't vote for him because I don't agree with him. I've said I think he is good for the race because it gives free advertising to candidates I do support and I also think he is funny as hell.

I don't agree with his stance on free trade and I don't agree that bringing manufacturing jobs back from China is feasible or really something that needs to be focused on. A lot of these jobs are in low end industries that we really don't need to comeback. Garments, consumer products, etc.

I want to see a candidate talk about the need to develop a 21st century workforce, if only someone was doing that....

ok, you know he says things to get people's attention right? When I or anyone says congress is incompetent, we all know its a given that there are a few competent people serving. But, how you you explain almost 19 trillion in debt?

Trump doesn't think everyone is stupid. He doesn't think all Mexicans are criminals either. He is smart because he says it in a way to get people talking about the issues. You don't build a 10 billion dollar empire by being stupid.

Whatever happened to fighting against income inequality and all that? Or do Hillary supporters believe she's only getting her donations from grannies who empty their piggy banks when she knocks on their front doors on the campaign trail?

Kind of funny that someone who rails against the greedy corporations has made a living by doing absolutely nothing besides accepting their contributions in exchange for political favors.

LOL, party of the people!!

Beverly Hills. West Hollywood. Georgetown. The Upper East Side. Chicago’s Lakefront. Not exactly hot spots for the “everyday Americans” Hillary Clinton says she’s running to represent.
But these are the cities and exclusive neighborhoods where Hillary Clinton is raising gobs of the big-dollar donations that help make up the $45 million she raised in the second quarter.
