ok, you know he says things to get people's attention right? When I or anyone says congress is incompetent, we all know its a given that there are a few competent people serving. But, how you you explain almost 19 trillion in debt?

Trump doesn't think everyone is stupid. He doesn't think all Mexicans are criminals either. He is smart because he says it in a way to get people talking about the issues. You don't build a 10 billion dollar empire by being stupid.

Fwiw, he isn't worth 10. Some of the assets he values way higher than they're worth and since they're hard to quantify like golf courses or his brand, it is subjective enough that you can't call it outright BS. But it isn't true....
