The best play value wise imo will be take the Redwings on ML in Pitt on thur if they lose double down in the 7th game, you will make money this way imo..ck

Would've agreed with you if the odds were close to even, but CRIS just came out with Wings -135... and I'm sure it'll be pushed further by squares.

Pitt will probably be good value close to gametime in game 6 (and 7 if need be.)

It lost, but it was the right side. What you just saw almost never happens with one team dominating like that.

it's not the right side if it lost! if you are paying the book, then it was the wrong side.

Not true in my opinion. Being on that side in that position, knowing what happened in that game, is going to be a longterm profitable situation to be in. Therefore making it the right side. If you make a bet at -300, and you win 8 out of 10 times, it doesn't make the 2 times you lose the wrong side. A game like that evens out. Ya gotta think of the bigger picture.

I agree with you....but what if a selective underdog bettor plays 3 or 4 of those same 10 games at +260 (including the two winners). Does that mean he chose the "wrong" side on all 3 or 4 games?

Betting into a longterm profitable situation is the right side regardless of whether the dog or favorite is the profitable longterm outcome. You can't win em all but as long as you come out ahead, then the bets are the right side. If that makes sense.

so you are saying that Detroit was the right side last night if you make money long term....and Pitt was the right side last night if you make money long term?
