Anyway, the BEST BBQ places I know of anywhere are in Memphis, there are 2 kinds, my favorite in many trips has become the Dry Rub ribs at Rendezvous, its really good. www.hogsfly.com is their website. Don’t let Dry rub scare you off, they have delicious sauce on the table to pour on your plate to dip the ribs in.

The other place, which is almost as good is the Blues City Café on Beale st. They have the traditional Wet ribs which fall off the bone, they are famous too, Tom Cruise filmed a scene there from the movie “The Firm”. Their website is www.bluescitycafe.com/

You can’t go wrong with either of them, If I had to choose it would be Rendezvous. Its in the alley right down the way from the Peabody hotel where they have the ducks in the fountain.

Ribs are a MUST when i Memphis, Best BBQ anywhere. KC and Texas don't hold a candle to this.

There are a couple of mom and pop rib joints around the Oklahoma City area, that will blow you away. Many lilly white people are scared to set foot in these places. I'm not!

The local Ruby Tuesday has some good ass ribs that fall off the bone. I've never had ribs in KC to argue with you but for fun. BULL SHIT KC has WAY better ribs.

Most of it is taste. Texas is what I'm used to and I love BBQ.

I also think the meat is better here than in some states as well.

My wife and are a huge BBQ ribs fans.
You can get some real tasty ribs here in the northeast, but you have to drive a little bit to get them.

BillsGirl loves the rub, me? I'll eat 'em any way you cook 'em.

no its not.

Memphis is the king of BBQ Ribs, Texas likes to smoke meat and briskett

Again, it all comes down to what you like. I'll stick to Texas BBQ, and steaks for that matter.
