Seems to me that tracking numbers and then using regression analysis to beat the Roulette wheel is a solid strategy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regression_analysis

Has anyone done this? Maybe it's something that's being suppressed by the casinos, like card counting and past posting live horse races

i.e. from the above article "Regression analysis is widely used for prediction and forecasting, where its use has substantial overlap with the field of machine learning….Regression analysis can be used to accurately predict outcomes in many instances,….Regression models for prediction are often useful even when the assumptions are moderately violated, although they may not perform optimally"

if you had a legit online casino and no free time then maybe you could get this to work. monitor 5000 spins and see how it looks then use your analysis and flat bet the next 5000 spins and hope there is some regression to the mean.

unfortunately a roulette wheel in one sitting is too small of a sample size.

works like a charm

A lot of people have been going pro at roulette doing this. The key is you have to play atleast 24 hours straight for there to be regression. Once you get to the 24hrs, raise your bets significantly on the side that has come in less. This is like printing money....

I have found 1 wheel in 15 years of playing roulette that is bi as ed enough to make $$$ on. And I go to that casino and play every 4 months or so and leave with 400 bucks... never more.
Good luck in your quest. And my only advice to you is dont kill the golden goose when u find it

This is why I believe SA will lose Sunday night in OKC. They will regress off of two straight convincing wins.

This would require a lot of charting and belief that it will work in roulette.

Regression analysis relies on correlation between one or more independent variables and an output variable in order to make its predictions.

An example would be if you thought temperature of the room was correlated to a higher percentage of a certain number hitting, or something ridiculous like that.

In roulette your output variable would be the number that was landed on. What would be your independent variable?

I don't think you really understand what regression analysis is.

You mean like when a charm is on a chain...... and the chain mistakenly gets wrapped around your neck...... and then it gets tangled and chokes the life out of you?????? The worst part would be the chain will choke all the money out of you and leave you penniless right before you die?

This was supposed to be my post. Only thing you left out was figuring out a way to get Justin cruise in the post.

Regression analysis was used, effectively, to pinpoint the cheating occuring on Absolute Poker and others. Read here: http://hardboiledpoker.blogspot.co.uk/2012_08_01_archive.html

Since poker = gambling, there is no doubt that R A can be used at other casino games, like Roulette. In fact Roulette is perfect because it's based on numbers and stuff

SO, in conclusion, use Regressioin analysis and you will win at Roulette

Ever,

If you are able to carry around a super-computer the size of the Pentagon...... and sit at the roulette wheel for a million years straight..... and correctly analyze all your data..... You might make $1.50.
