I'm a bit sub-standard tipping dealers....they can't spit on my food, or delay it, I tip the cocktail waitress better...so I get my drink....I'll get my cards either way. A dealer kind of needs to have nice
, or ( if a guy) be like very entertaining.A no personality Asian woman dealer that says nothing more than ....Insurance ( every 20 hands) ? gets no tip.
agree with doug, if i have a good run at a table and make a couple hundy ill tip the dealer when i leave or they need to have a personality and make the table fun. The quiet ones from ethiopia who look like a poker table is the last place on earth they want to be at, im not too worried about tipping them

Well you tip the people you know are getting a sub-minimum wage because they get tips....like a waitress.
You don't tip the airline pilot for landing the plane safely.
Tip for extraordinary service for more professional types, like a mechanic ( at X-Mas), if inclined, or maybe your hairstylist, etc.
Some common sense here, a guy bringing food to you deserves a tip, anybody like that you'll ever see again is to be tipped ( insurance).
You can stiff at a restaurant in a far away city.... but it's not right.
Restaurant is different though. Most of the time they are speedy and nice to you the entire night. Yet a Chinamen Sammy Shop delivery man will more likely than not, 1)Be late , 2)Knock on your door like the feds do (atleast here in MD) , 3)Rude as fuck and mug you when you open the door. So therefor I will never tip them.

through college and into now I have worked in customer service and a restaurant or two here is a breakdown ive learned over my years.
White people tip the best as a whole, followed by black people, and then other minorites. White people are the first people to complain that shit is taking to long to come out, black people are picky as hell about they way their food is cooked (special requests), and the last group never really complains much which is why i would guess they tip the least
Twice tops. Its funny you start this thread today because I ordered from him today. This is why I continue to post in here because its is relevent to me. But honeslt I NEVER tip sammy shop deliveries. They are all the same I swear. I remember once (no bullshit) a new carryout was opened near my house. So I called in and placed an order. After placing 10-15 orders I began to talk to the man at the front desk taking the orders. He was cool but young. I knew the entire staff. I would walk in the cooks in the back would yell my name to say whats up. One day I called again and placed my order, the guy at the front desk said this to me "$17.change is the total. Plus $3 for tip makes it $20 .change" I say "$3 for tip???? The fuck is this a restaurant???" He says" No tip, I will spit in your food" He said this thinking since he somewhat knew me that I would take it as a joke. So I call again and place another order, And this time I get the fool on tape. His chink ass thought he was gonna pull a fast one on me. Thats why I never tip em. Long story short I took the tape to the local police department. Had them shut down the place.
