MLB is a big drug contest. Its pretty funny how people talk about "the fan" there is no such thing. 90% of the fans cant name more than 3 players on their own team.

this is the best post in the thread. palmeiro is one of very few guys
who actually FAILED a test. but since he waived is finger in front of congress he's immune from scrutiny.

how about having him for perjury....

Palmeiro can't be charged with perjury - he only said that he had never taken steroids - then - after he said it - he tested postive - so maybe he had never taken juice at the time of his statement and took juice after his testimony - of course, Palmeiro was juiced to the gills all along.

Don't know the exact year Sosa was chirping against roids, but he did it a lot until a reporter had a clinic lined up with a limo after a game to drive him there. Which he bailed on after saying he was willing to be tested at any time.

Rick Reilly of SI confronted him about it.

Its already been mentioned but one that comes to mind is Jeter. Great player and certainly doesnt have the steroid look. He's probably 20 pounds heavier then when he entered the league but that is more going from a skinny 20 year old kid to a man in his 30's. You havent seen the huge increase in the power game, pretty much a 15-20 homer guy and I've never heard his name mentioned anywhere.
