Hottest team on the rise BY FAR (in terms of first half of season to where they are now: GEORGETOWN...This team has the big men to win it all, they would kill UCLA imo and match up very well with Florida (Cant wait to put a dime on them NOT to repeat, prob be at -400 or something, so much talent, but they are playing like they are already guarenteed a final for berth and I think they will get off guard against a sleeper team who will be playing with some fire under their ass (G-Tech DEF has the talent, and if they find the chemistry by then you will see a ferocious young squad, but the x-factor will be: Hewitt...yes coaching, he has een horrid at motivating before these last solid wins and lacking making good adjustments and/or matchup issues)....

ODU/Hofstra/VCU (mark my words, one of the 3 will get to the sweet 16, maybe even 2
hno:, even though I honestly think ODU is the best of the bunch, even though like some of the guys in the thread mentioned that good guards = success come March, and VCU has that lethal 3 headed guard monster that average at least 13.5 pts/game each w/ Maynor leading the pack as the #2 scorer on the team, but dishing nearly 6.7 assists per game and 4.5 boards as well....nearly 5 boards a game for a 6-2 185lb guard in just his 2nd year)...what I love about this mid major schools is, that you get to watch their stud players play 3-4 years of ball and see their full development instead of the Big Conf frosh who just are playing to kill time till the draft...most of these kids like Maynor know they dont have the size for the pros, so they really shine to the max in their 4 years of D1 ball
Clemson --- has the talent and think they are a victim of their own conference and obvious geographic location in the Carolinas...but barring a bracket with UNC (who plain an simply OWNS Clemson), I really think they can get back into that sync they were in when they were undefeated through the first half of the season
