nice

Well I just came back from Walmart in Toronto where they are open 24 hours a day now and will probably continue a little past christmas as well. I bought some weights, protein bars, some supplements, hand grips, one of those stupid exercise balls which I am just using as a chair for my basement and a water filter. All cheap shit. Funny enough 2 weeks ago I bought 2 Nintendo wii games from Futureshop and I went to Walmart to see if they had any wii controllers, they had the wii-mote and the 2 games I bought were $5 cheaper! Pissed me off...

It's the double-edged sword of corporatism.

I don't shop there myself, the fact that it always seems packed is enough to dissuade me from bothering.

Blue I like almost all your post. I think you were just trying to make a joke and it turned out bad. This thread has moved from the people that shop there to the company itself. I myself go to walmart but I drive to a Walmart that is 10 miles the road than the one that is 3 miles from me. So I can see where you are comming from.

now i know how john kerry feels..."stay in school and study hard or...you might end up in walmart".

How can someone have never been to Walmart before this week? Come on Blue, fess up.

I doubt that even 1/10th of 1% of anyone over the age of 18 in the US has NEVER been to a Walmart.

I drive nice cars and live in a kick ass house and party like a rock star, but I am not too good to shop at Walmart. Those of you who say you NEVER shop there are so full of shit it is rediculous. It is not very likely that you never ran in to buy something ever in your life.

I like the poster Blue, but I simply do not believe he had never entered a Walmart before this week.

I absolutely refuse to shop there. I have one 2 miles down the road and drive right by it.. The place is a Zoo.. The Kids run wild through out the store and the last time I had a weak moment and decided to go there I pulled in the lot and witnessed a 400 pound women parking in the fire lane and tying up all the traffic as she tried to get her fat ass out of the car..
Needless to say I left asking myself why did I even consider going into there in the first place.............

it does sound hard to believe...i'll admit that. but it is true. the clerks at the store yesterday when i bought the gift card couldn't believe it either.

you didnt know this but, you are dealing with a guy who didnt see "forest gump" until 2001...even though everyone i know said it was the best movie ever. before i bought my house 8 years ago, i had never been in a menards or home depot either...i didnt even know what they had there...i thought it was plants and flowers and shit for some reason.

i seriously assumed that walmart was the same as target. the target is 1.5 miles away and the walmart as about 2 miles away so...i had no reason to ever even go in there. and, all i ever heard from my wife is target this target that...walmart is too crowded and cluttered...so, i never went there.

there is a place called "tommy's red hots" literally around the corner from the house i've lived in since i've been married and i've never been in there because i dont like hot dogs. i drive by it every single day.
