Listed 6 because I didn't know who to leave out. No order.

Kellen Winslow (Chargers)
Ozzie Newsome (Browns)
John Mackey (Colts)
Mike Ditka (Bears)
Jackie Smith (Cardinals)
Dave Casper (Raiders)

My favorite (doesn't mean best) is Ozzie Newsome who was a great player for Alabama.

STOP !

Think you have been hanging out in Willie's threads too long.

Love Gronk, but he's still Green and not even close to the numbers that Any of the above have.

Gronk has TE yardage record, TE td record, TE td record in playoffs ALREADY

He will easily be #1 on that list when he's finished

Gonzalez holds the above records in Red, not Gronk ...
Would have to double check on the Playoff one

I'm talking single season records on the first two

He just broke the all time post season td record this year

And I agree with you it's criminal to not include Gonzalez on that list

To be fair, Gonzalez had 15+ Seasons to Gronk 6 ( so far )
also to be fair, TE's weren't used back then like they are Today.

I Truly believe when all said and done, Gronk will be up top. The guy has so much talent ... wouldn't matter who's throwing him the ball

I'll axe this question, if you can any TE in their prime on your team, who would it be?

To me, Gronk is the biggest game changer at that position in the history of the game

and yes, he's only 26

They don't block and hardly ever line up tight

The true TE is going the way of the full back about to be extinct heck they send in a extra tackle now to block cause the TE can't

Ok, I'll give you that. Blocking is/was a big part of the TE position
