I take the $1 million for sure. (Assuming no hedges allowed, etc.)

Inside: And what kind of a house could you buy with $0?

I'm wrong.

I guess Bill Gates should have sold Microsoft when it was worth a million.

Sam Walton should have sold Wal-Mart when it was worth a million.

Both of them should have realized they had a million locked up and not try to get farther ahead in life.

At least I now know what the "I'm set for life" number is.

I can't wait to hit the Lotto for $2.4 million and sell the ticket for $1 million to my next door neighbor because I might lose it on the way to the store and end up with nothing.

talk is cheap, I think Pylons dude would at least consider taking the million, after thinking about it, I admit I'd take the ***** milion, but I thought about it first !

A million would afford me a lot of things, that would satisfy my needs, without greed, it's enough !

Much of gambling is theoretical, but a time comes to toss the math, actually some understanding of math is critical ! The questions of a Sherman asking odds of picking 10 straight winners shouldn't need to axed.

That is true about math Doug, I agree 100%

But the question Sherman is asking will NEVER be something you have to face, it is pointless to have a serious debate over something that will never be reality.

I can't arque with reality, I should avoid these discussions. I'd honestly do it for 100k, 1 million I guess is my limit.

I knew he meant 1 million/5million. Anybody who will take 1 million for something that is worth 2.25/2.4 million has no heart. To be a winning gambler, you have to have heart.

Does anybody here realize that 1 million barely can buy a nice house in a major city nowadays? What? Do you just buy it and sit in it? I wouldn't give too much credit for future earning potential on someone who takes the million.

This may be the stupidest thing one has EVER said here at THERX....
