I'm exactly the same way. I have a lot of friends that are Cubs die-hards, including my brother. I would actually pull for them in the playoffs if the cards were out. We're probably in the 1% of diehard Cards fans that would do so. Fuck the Cubs until then though.

I don't know I think most Cards fans are tired of hearing it. Then again it is kind of fun. I have 3 cousins living in Chicago right now. 2 live right down the road from Wrigley the other is a Cards fan that moved up there for work.

I don't even see the A's/Yankees game on the board at 5dimes. I guess they took it down to change the number for the different pitcher. Gallagher is a stud though and IMO isn't that big of a difference than Duchscherer. Duch was getting hit easily in the All Star game, but he is a very good pitcher. Gallagher isn't a huge step down though. If Joba doesn't have his command the A's could easily win tomorrow.

I'm thinking under though because I really like Gallagher, and Joba is pretty good and going against one of the worst lineups in the league.

And about this Cubs/Cards thread it has turned into. I don't like or hate either team, but the Cubs are better this year no questions asked, and Soto is the second best catcher in the NL after Martin. Molina is near the bottom IMO, but I might feel differently if I saw him every day. I personally would take a Barajas/Zaun combo the Jays have over Molina because he really is a bad hitter. The Cards do have an underrated team though, and arguably the best 3-4-5 lineup with Pujols, Ankiel and Ludwick.

Gallagher is a huge step down, imo. Duchscherer is the real deal. 2 ER or less in 15 out of last 16 starts. That isn't even possible. Gallagher looked very sharp last time out, but flip a coin on his starts. Not consistent.

As far as Molina......quit smoking crack. Molina the best defensive catcher in the league, and he's batting .300. And Molina is the hardest person in baseball to strike out. So much for being a bad hitter.

I hope you are kidding if not :lolBIG:

Molina is the best defensive catcher in the league. (period) He happens to have a .312 average not to shabby IMO. Keep Barajas and Zaun. Only person you mentioned worthy is Martin. Guy plays everyday salute to him he is good.

:lolBIG: I first responded to the A's argument. Then after I saw that shit talking about my boy, I had to edit. After reading what you bolded.....I missed that. Molina one of the worst.......that is automatic clown status if he doesn't recant that statement.

Agreed. I can't really trust anything someone with a tennis avatar has to say anyway.
