Carp is going out on a rehab assignment to AA I think he will be a huge boost not to even mention Wainwright. Look out Cub fans we are still in your rearview mirror.

That hit was large throwing out Gerut to end the top half of the 8th was equally huge. If Yadi had been the All-Star catcher the AL wouldn't have been stealing and that's all I got to say about that.

Yeah, and the rearview mirror is a great place for yall to be!!! :lolBIG:

quinns, I'm thinking about heading down to STL tomorrow for the Cards game and some poker at either Harrah's or the new Lumiere. You wanna meet me there?

Fuck I would love to but I am going to what is going to start off as a bridal shower for some friends of mine (I'm actually marrying them) after that it is going to turn into a kick ass bbq where I will get really drunk and pass out on the way home as long as someone will drive my drunk ass home.

I haven't been up for a game in a while so I will be up there soon I'll let you know for sure.

Lets see, I could be wrong here but it looks like Soto has more hits, twice the walks, nearly twice the rbis, 4x the home runs and a higher obp and slug. ???

Molina is not asked to produce offensively but I would say hitting over .300 and coming up with countless 2 out RBI's should count for something.

Soto will wear down in the sun. Sorry not every field has a roof here in the states.

Fuck the cubs.

If you wanna talk stats, there's probably a MIT forum down the road. Here's a stat for you.

100

That's a long fucking time, bro. None of my 4 dead grandparents had even been born in 1908.

I believe it is your reading comprehension that is lacking. I said 2 out RBI's keep in mind he bats behind several guys that are over 50 rbi's on the year there isn't much left out there to drive in but hey you knew that.

Yeah I dont think any of the guys in front of soto have many rbis, but i dont know! The team hasnt won in 100 years so they must suck this year I guess.

The Cubs don't suck at all, they are phenomenal at home. But when a team dominates like that, and you're still only up 3 games, you have to start believing that the Cardinals are pretty good themselves. With their ace possibly coming back, and their 1a starter Wainwright coming back.......it could be one helluva NLCS if both teams get there.

There are only two guys that have more than 50 rbi's that bat in front of Soto, Lee and Ramirez.

Molina has Ludwick, Pujols, Glaus, and Ankiel.

I don't think either of us said they suck did we. I am not sure he is reading all of the words. I guess he doesn't know that we would both cheer for the cubs if they made it to the WS. I still say FUCK them now though.

Fuckin A I did. Funny thing is I just posted something about that in your college football thread in the offshore forum.
That's funny. I didn't even know if you were on the RX around that time. I watch the video of that final pitch from our seats about once a month, and I get this huge smile on my face. What a night that was. I'll still be smiling about it 50 years from now.

I'm exactly the same way. I have a lot of friends that are Cubs die-hards, including my brother. I would actually pull for them in the playoffs if the cards were out. We're probably in the 1% of diehard Cards fans that would do so. Fuck the Cubs until then though.

I was a lurker around here for probably about a year before I registered. Started coming here because a guy I know from around here said go check Skinsraj28 and Kojak in College hoops and Spreadbeater in NBA. Funny since all three are not posting plays on a consistent basis.

I was sitting in my basement watching with about 25 of my best friends. We all thought we would never see the day when our team would win the whole damn thing. That was a drunk ass night think I was off the next day if I wasn't I don't remember a damn thing.
