Richard Gere walks into that plant with all those workers and he's wearing his white uniform, picks up his woman and as he's carrying her out, the bitch that was responsible for the death of Richard Gere's buddy say's "Way to go Paula! Way to go!" while she's clapping.

You will need to come up with something better than "An Officer and a Gentleman" to be in same league as Shawshank... Not even close IMO

Now, if you had a movie like "The Sting" up against it, that would be a tough choice. Just my opinion...

I was hoping someone could spot out the sarcasm. That scene was disgusting and so "Happily Ever After" that I wanted to kick myself in the nuts just to feel better.

One scene In O&G I'm holding in by back pocket is the scene where Richard Gere yells to his sergeant, "Don't You Do It! I Got Nowhere Else To Go!"...I want to use this line and use it as dramatically for when the day comes when I get fired from my job. Or, just maybe, I'll use that scene from the movie "Burn After Reading" with John Malkovich when he's getting fired from his job, "This is a CRUCIFIXION!".
