Kyhawk,

Taos, Marin County, Telluride...we can keep naming them. I dreamed of those places for almost too long. But most of us have to get real and look for what is attainable before we piss our years and money away and end up renting a rat trap flat on the south side of Chicago at age 55.

The question presumes sufficient resources to be out of the mainstream business or JOB world...so we say The Netherlands in the summer and the Gulf Coast of Florida in the winter.

New Mexico likely third place for all year round.

Along the same lines, if anyone knows. These other Countries, Cosa Rica, Mexico, maybe one of the Islands. What are the requirements to go live there. Are there any fees required? You can't just fly down there and live for ever, can you?

wherever jennifer garner lived - right next door. this way when she came over to borrow a cup of sugar - or something like that - i would make her stay over for a few hours for dinner - and then eventually we would get married and live happily ever after - and since she makes so much money - we would merge our 2 houses together for an "uber" house.

not that i have given this any thought
