Only motivation for Carr to cooperate is he might lose the game of "musical chairs" as the QB slots will be filled with the number of QB's moving plus the four coming into the league. SF also has two playable QB's coming back who were not there at the end of the year.
Only thing I know about Carr's eventual destination is that team will be disappointed.

Not sure he'll land anywhere. All teams want to win, not lose. Proven loser.

Nope, he's pretty good.

If he gets cut and becomes a FA, which is likely, he will get 4-5 offers, will sign somewhere for 3 -4 yrs, $80M - $120M with $40M - $60M guaranteed or more.

Jets NO TB Atlanta Wash and a few others, too, depending on if they go the draft route or go for Garapollo or a few other FAs.

Carr is a mid-range QB who is way overpaid and is on the back end of his career. I guess he is an upgrade in Washington although that would make the coach my top bet to get fired. I don't really think he is better than Jameis, but Winston is not playing anyway. No way Seattle or SF would take that downgrade. Miami is too attractive a destination to settle on Carr. Probably Houston to use him as a bridge to the QB they draft which might also be true for Indy. Darkhorse could be Baltimore if Jackson walks. (or runs to the Falcons)

Carr has played on a dysfunctional team for many years.

If Hurts had played on the Raiders for the last 5 yrs they would not have done any better, IMO probably worse.

He is no super star but if Carr gets into a good situation he could flourish...

If given a choice, do you take Carr or Mayfield?

You could really take either one as you will have a very high draft pick next year and then could get a real QB. Carr is a better locker room guy and is a big-time roller which is attractive to some.

The Raiders worked a get out of jail free card into Carr's contact that allowed them the flexibility to cut him after one season into a 3 year contract with a minimal salary cap hit. However, the compromise for that is they had to agree to a no trade clause for Carr and a very early Feb 15 maturity date. Stupid contract for the Raiders because that gave ALL of the leverage to Carr.
