Scoring O is the most important when determining how good a offense really is.........that is the point of offense is putting points on the board, correct?
BTW.....I do agree with you on Bama not being the best ever......they are just better than ND and we will see in about 24 hours.
There is no arguing that Bama is better talent wise and as an overall team compared to ND. However, unlike basketball/nhl, this is a one game take all scenario.
In College, i always go back to the Ohio State - Miami game, even though that game didn't have the discrepency that the FSU/Oklahoma game did. Ohio State had 14 players drafted that April (most in NFL Draft history for 7 rounds). OU was an underdog with a QB with a wet noodle for an arm. They didn't have the talent FSU had, but they shut FSU down completely. I think ND will have a very good gameplan and I think this comes down to whoever makes 2 turnovers loses.
I like the fact that ND has very good defense, mobile QB and good run. I also like Wood and Riddick's ability to catch the ball out of the back field. I think ND comes in with a chip on their shoulder.
I am in no way backing down from my play ( I already have ND), but this game is nothing like last year vs LSU. LSU vs Bama last year, in the title game (I lost a lot the first game at Bryant-Denny) I thought was the 2nd best bet I had ever seen. Miami -7 vs Nebraska is still the all time best I have ever seen.
