i'm currently in the process of obtaining citizenship and move up north. i'm thinking by the time i'm done with my masters i'll be off the waiting list. i'm not afraid to try new things, go different places like americans are, and the american mindset has decayed so much im at the point now where i can't wait to get out.
Find it interesting that the minuses are for liberals and the plusses are for conservatives.

The conservative mindset prevailed from America's founding 'till about the time of LBJ's "Great Society". Since then the fiscal and social liberal mindset has ruled.

i am because i used to love the country, and that has deteriorated into me now wanting to leave. failed government, lack of family, moral, social, ethical values, no community is all part of the generation that were apart of. we are all to blame. you wish to embrace it, i embraced it enough and am getting the hell out before the ship sinks. thats the difference.
So far, this thread (and many others) has shown me ONE thing, either all of you are so full or yourself that you have forgotten the world you live in, WHICH INCLUDES THE REST OF US, or you do not care for OUR SOCIETY. Our world can't be one thing or another as you would have it, it must find a compromise to work, if at all, and as I read all of your threads, if correctly, it can't happen because you are not willing to give an inch. It appears you all come here to be a picture on the wall hoping to get a few views like the Mona Lisa, and then you feel redeemed for your position in life. Again, as I mentioned some weeks ago in a thread, lets hear and read some positive solutions to a very difficult world and not just cute dog shit, however you wish to respond. Your cute dog shit is like dog shit on the lawn, its' of little use. We all have the ability to see, smell and comment on dog shit, but few have the ability to lead us to a stable and productive life. Like the person walking their dog with a plastic bag to pick up the dog shit, when the dogs ass moves, you need to pick up after it, otherwise, you are the problem-like the dogs ass.
I'm 0, and I'm not a fence sitter. This notion that we have to pick a side is part of what's wrong with our country.
What's the problem with someone who believes that there are good characteristics on both sides of the political spectrum?
The brilliant thing about this place is that posting here can only do one of two things: 1) help or 2) be neutral. Note that this implies it can't hurt. Why? Because you have a choice to ignore what you don't like.
Are you equally resentful towards people spending a weekend in Las Vegas, say? Or are they doing their part by "helping" the owners of the big hotels and casinos there?
