gtc, Hate to tell you man but you are a perfect exmple of the "deteriorated American mindset". Until the last 40 years or so what is considered the conservative mindset today ruled America. John F Kennedy would be considered a conservative by today's measuring sticks.

The conservative mindset prevailed from America's founding 'till about the time of LBJ's "Great Society". Since then the fiscal and social liberal mindset has ruled.

If you don't like the state of the Country today please look in the mirror.
