Just watched John Candy's last movie he did right before he died. It was supposed to be a comedy, and i didn't even smirk once during the movie

There are few clear cut wrong answers, and this is one of them. Most likely you are a closet racist and couldn't laugh at the racial jokes.

Since you quoted me I'm not sure you realised I was simply quoting somebody else with the italics. I thought Borat was great.

"Lost In translation"

I am still pissed about the $3 I wasted on this piece of crap. And the 2 hours that felt like 10

I challenge anyone who can stay awake through this movie about nothing.

I thought the movie was putrid.. For all the hype and acclaim it received I couldn't believe how horrible it was..

This year the worst movie I saw was Number 23 with Jim Carrey. I have a friend who had a small part in the movie he thought it was horrible too.

Btw Sideways was an awesome movie.

Lost in translation is brilliant. I have no idea how anyone could dislike that film.

I'm sorry, it had to be said.

Without a doubt:

"Cruising" with Al Pacino (who I think is gay in real life).

He plays an undercover cop who is investigating a serial killer of men in gay public areas. Later on he starts to enjoy being around gay men as it shows him getting aroused. There were small shots of explicitly gay sex in this movie.

Only movie I've ever walked out of.

:pucking:

Here's the IMDB plot summary:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080569/plotsummary

"A serial killer brutally slays and dismembers several gay men in New York's S&M and leather districts. The young police officer Steve Burns is sent undercover onto the streets as decoy for the murderer. Working almost completely isolated from his department, he has to learn and practice the complex rules and signals of this little society. While barely seeing his girlfriend Nancy anymore, the work starts changing him."

"Cruising is the fictional account of a series of gruesome killings in modern day New York City. Steve Burns, a "beat" officer still wet behind the ears, is recruited by Captain Edelson of the NYPD Homicide Unit to go undercover in search of the perpetrator. The victims in these killings are all homosexual men known to frequent "Leather," S&M (Sadism and Masochism), and B&D (Bondage and Dominance) clubs so Burns, in "deep cover," must mascarade as gay in order to attract the killer. He fits the victims' profiles: dark hair, dark complexion, dark eyes. Cruising tells the story of his adventures and misadventures in this small subculture of gay society as he searches for the killer."

I thought independence day was good. :(

It's a fun movie filled with action, it does what it's supposed to.

The war of the worlds remake with Tom Cruise. Thats a crappy action movie.

LOL

A guess, but I think he is sick of everyone talking about how great these movies are. I know that I have learned to HATE Shawshank just because so many people give it praise.

Theater movies:

Captivity (Absolutely predictable, retarded, terrible acting, terrible plot, the only funny thing was how out there the lines were......When you're inside her, I'M inside her. Don't let the game play you, you play the game.

Femme Fatale (If it wasnt for the naked lesbians this would be the worst movie ever. You don't have to lick my ass, just fuck me. Still cringe hearing that line.

Sideways (I hate slice of life movies....if I wanted a slice of life, I would walk outside and live life. Not watch a fucking movie. The pinot shit was just retarded...ohhh you hate pinot ohhhhh big tough guy. Putz.)

Any David Lynch movie (Who lets this motherfucker keep making movies? I remember I watched Lost Highway and Brokeback Mountain the same night and it wasn't even close which was the better movie, even though Lost Highway had Marilyn Manson and crazy lesbians in it. David Lynch represents all that is wrong with the world.)

Napoleon Dynamite (Few funny parts, but mostly unbearably excruciating to watch)

2001: A Space Odyssey (I waited and waited and waited for a fucking plot for fucking something.....I literally broke the DVD as soon as I was done watching the movie. Fucking terrible. How can Kubrick make something as good as Clockwork Orange and then make THAT travesty. Have no idea why people like that movie.)

Most awesomely bad movies:

ConAir (Sure it's bad, but when that comes on cable, can you see no? I can't)
Waterworld (See above)
Half of The Rock's movies

I liked captivity. It isnt designed to be a blockbuster movie. It's a good B movie horror flick. Seriously. Dont pick on B movies. And there is nothing 'predictable' about it. Yeah, because you knew the captured guy was in on it and the chic would turn into a vengeful murderer. Give me a break.

The dude that made that movie also made the Sixth Sense. How do you go from the Sixth Sense to a garbage movie like The Village? Inexcusable.

Hard to believe anyone could make a movie that bad, let alone him.
