I agree. Betallsports paid for a dinner for me at Cafe Martorano (Rio) paying off a bet. His wife is a real genuine lady.

To this day I thin BAS is kind of jealous his wife and I got along so well.

I'm not a big spender on extravagant dinners. I like a place that has good food, good service, and is reasonably priced so usually when my wife and I go out to dinner it costs us about $60 with a tip.

When we got engaged we went out for a nice dinner and in total with a tip it cost me (us) $250 at a steak place.

I was at my local hangout, a bar / restaurant , hanging at the bar with a few friends. A soldier came in holding a baby with I'm guessing his wife and one of their mothers. They went into the back area where there are tables. I called the waitress over and told her I was picking up the tab for the soldier and his party. She asked me on at least 3 different occasions if I was sure. The tab came to over $300. As it turns out, the soldier was home from Iraq for his fathers funeral and there were already about 20 people back there before he came in. The lady with him was his mother. She came out to the bar in tears to thank whoever it was that paid. Best $300 plus I've ever spent.

Thankyou)(&

the most expensive dinner I ever was treated to was the 2 or 3rd Bash at the Golden Nugget steak house... Marty and shrink and Rick and I forgot who all else was there but all the big wigs were there from the RX the Dinner I would guess was well in the 1500-2000$ range . Marty paid for it all ... and they all drank some expensive alcoholic beverages ..:smoking:
