I was playing a progressive triple play nickel machine at a little dump in Henderson called Eldorado. All 3 hands were over $ 300 so I thought I'd give it a spin. I hit a Royal for $ 313 in clubs on the bottom row. The woman next to me said " You might as well leave now as they never come back ". Of course I knew that the machines have no memory so I continued to play. Within 5 or 10 minutes I hit another Royal on the same line and in the same suite " Clubs ". To show you how soon I hit the second Royal, it paid only $ 200.18 ! Now the woman next to me was really livid that I should get up and leave. Well I stuck around and was quickly dealt 4 Aces on the bottom row which meant I had 800 nickels on all 3 rows. However I held the 4 aces and a 3 came up on 2 of the 3 rows for 4800 nickels for another $ 240 to go with my $ 513 already won. The woman next to me got up and left ! Pretty funny as some people actually think these machines are human and can think or something. I left over $ 600 ahead as I gave a little back but mainly I was just getting tired !
