2 million would be perfect, on top of my retirement dollars I'm currently putting away monthly and about 10 years from retirement, that would do for sure

I'm worth upwards of 800 million.

Just here to chat with down-to-earth gamblers. Wife and mistress routinely spend 10,000 on trips to the hair salon. But with humble, addict gamblers like all you fellows, I feel I can relax.

I know you're all poor fucks and just need a million or two.... and I would lend it to some of you, but I already lent 2 million to two tranny-opp posters here to help them live their dreams..... (DaFinch and another)..... but the hormones whacked out their artificial synthetic vaginas and they've gone mentally insane. So I no longer lend millions to fellow posters.

haha

I don't need a mil. How 'bout 10 gs? Pay ya back next week after a few parlays.

Justine Cruise: 1 Billion dollars so that he could spend the rest of his life buying respect,

Choptalk: Whatever the current rate is for a more durable vagina than the one she currently has.

Kidman: $19,600 in order to buy his house outright and to live a life of leisure for the next 60 years.

PocketRockets: $250 for a night of blow and hookers.

Mobdeep: A $30,000 brick of hundies so he can take a selfie, post it, and finally become an Online Inna-City Gansta!

Your pretty close, too many people on here lost touch with reality or trying to act well above their means. I dont care if you make 100k a yr, a free 100k would be life changing. Take months off work, go traveling, start a side business etc. Even if yyou just invested it and you got to retire x numbers earlier etc

$500,000 would certainly do it, but I did some quick calculations, and $275,000 after taxes would be a life-changing windfall.

2 mill liquid? easy,of course the big factor is living expenses.

The Trinity study tell us that withdrawing 4% yearly has a 95% of success (not running out of money) over a 30 yr period. Sequence of returns risk is an issue , there are ways to mitigate (cash reserve)

Ideally, live within the yield

with various types-of-assets in a tax efficient manner one can yield 4.5-6% (with the help of some exotics like covered call selling , they even have etf's to do that nowadays if ones uncomfortable doing it), Understand one would NOT sell capital. Just living off the yield...the yield shield....dagone......... On +ve market years one could sell capital at yr end , increase the cash safety net.

2 mill yielding 4.75% ? that's $95,000 before taxes. Can easily live off that amount. This doesnt include govt assistance once age is met..REAL biggie is gauging health care espenses with advancing age; it PAYS to rid chronic disease, in spades..

Good stuff rib.

Health care expenses are a big expense many nearing retirement aren't prepared for. Unless you're a complete A-hole and you live outside your means, $95K/year is a lot of cash if your house is paid for and health care is low cost.

I’ve been on a 3.5 month losing streak. Winning a two team parlay for $100 would change my life.

$250,000 would suffice.

What kind of job do you have that allows you to take months off work?

Ahh.. duh. Went right over my head.

You know, I've never really asked about it. How does it work? I always thought if you can't make it to work, you get put in the trash can.... unless some health concern.

I knew a guy that disappeared for about four months from work and the rumor was "personal problems"... and then he came back like he never left. Maybe I should sign up for crazy..... I could use a 4 month vacation.

my job offers a leave of absence if you have been there a year, i think you can take up to 6 months and can burn whatever pto you have. some people use it to travel back home (Vietnam, Russia etc) to see family for 1-3 months. Others have used it when a family member is really sick and travel out of state to take care of them for an extended time.

1st place in the Supercontest would be a nice start. I let you know later in the year if that is enough.
