Spooky,

Sounds like you have quite the collection. I have a bunch of nice items myself, but I think you may top me. I have autographed photos of Bird, Magic, Michael, Barkley, Hakeem. A great 8X10 of Jordan and Tim Hardaway (favorite Heat player of all time). Tim Hardaway signed Warriors jersey. Jackie Robinson signed baseball is my favorite baseball piece. Also baseballs signed by Ripken, Pete Rose, and the entire Yankee team of many years ago, but not sure what year. A Jerry West signed Sports Illustrated magazine(West on the cover). Dan Marino signed game worn jerseys. Basketball signed by Tim Hardaway, Zo, and Pat Riley. And my newest addition to the collection is a Miami Heat signed team poster from last season which was sent to me by the Heat organization.:103631605

Spreadbeater,

Will drop you off a Catfish autograph or maybe even a Bud Harrelson, :lolBIG:
for one of those Miami Heat games for my son when the time comes.
With the Nets trade for Rahim he is more pumped then ever to go to see the Heat vs. Nets when the schedule comes out. He is right in Boynton Beach, near Pete Rose's restaurant and goes to Florida Atlantic.

I just had framed a Larry Bird Pic (picture of the cover of Sports Illustrated) for my son.

We have a few autographed cels from Warner Brothers with the characters portraying baseball and football greats which I love also.
That kind of stuff can be displayed and have lots of it hanging on the walls of my office and den.

Framed Kareem Jabbar pic (picture of the cover of Sports Illustrated) was just given to my younger son.

My kids only want to pick out the items they want in my will. How nice.

I have the Marino mini helmet and Ripken Helmet, hat and bat all signed.

I sold most all my sports cards years ago and replaced it with many of these items that I did not get in person.

The game used stuff is great because it truly is much rarer than the other mass produced items.

Waiting for Dwayne Jarret to come to town to sign a few items from the Orange Bowl and USC game last January. He went to school not far from me and a friend was his guidance counselor at New Brunswick, NJ and promised some items signed.
That was a GREAT time at the Orange Bowl and hoping to head out to the Rose Bowl in January to see them 3 peat.

Will be down there THanksgiving week so will have to catch up with you.

If you guys want to see any of the items I can email them at any time.
All pictured for insurance purposes.

But one of the best items is my son's autographed baseball from little league after he won a playoff game and threw a 1 hitter and struck out 13 batters that he gave me. That was special.

Class act....looks like the best item in the thread.

hats off to you MGSPOOKY

Thanks Wiz!!

My son gave me that when he was 12 years old. It really is great.
He is now 19 and going to college as I stated above.

Heading out to see the Oakland A's play Labor Day weekend with my 13 year old and see Alcatraz and just spending that time without the wifeypoo and bonding with my youngest is not memorabilia but something I will treasure as well.

Love this topic guys, thanks for sharing and listening.

A picture of me drinking Jack Daniel's and coke out of the Wannamaker Trophy and a set of one of a kind TaylorMade irons custom made for a major winner.

WOW. Very cool :D

My own personal favorite is a glove Roy Jones Jr. signed for me. Doesn't compare to the stuff listed here, but I am not much for memorabilia.

I have several rookie cards of the following: Ripken Jr., Griffey Jr., Dunn, Jeter, McGwire, Sosa, Bonds, Piazza, Yount, Brett, Kobe, Shaq, etc. Too many to list.

Anyone have any extra 1984 Topps Marino #123 or Elway #63 Rookies by chance?

Vegas: This is a copy of the card (not the exact card). Mine is signed by Maris and Gentile back in the 60's. Paid $40 for it at the National Convention back in the 80's.

Card not for sale however. Really upset I couldn't get Mantle. Would be worth $1000+

happy 80TH
Three-time AL All-Star first baseman Jim Gentile, who played in the majors from 1957-66, attended the game on his 80th birthday. With Baltimore in 1961, he finished third in the AL MVP voting behind Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle.
