My all time worst piece of memrobilia is a 16X20 autographed picture of SHAWN KEMP. What a stiff he turned out to be. An overweight, drug addicted, crackhead, cocaine sniffing, father of 7, who doesn't pay child support. I think it may be time to take that one down from my wall.

I could go on and on.

1990 OAKLAND A'S WORLD SERIES RING
GIVEN TO AND PREVIOUSLY OWNED
BY RHP REGGIE HARRIS
ALONG WITH HIS GAME USED JERSEY FROM THE SERIES VS. CINCINNATI.

MICHAEL JORDAN COLLECTION OF SPACE JAM CELS ALL AUTOGRAPHED BY MICHAEL JORDAN HIMSELF.
AND POSSIBLY ONE OF A KIND, AND I WOULD LOVE TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE THAT MAY HAVE IT.

"AIR AND HARE" LIMITED EDITION CEL CREATED TO COMMERMORATE MICHAEL JORDAN AND BUGS BUNNY FOR THEIR FIRST NIKE COMMERCIAL.
THIS CEL WHICH THEIR ARE ONLY 23 OF (MICHAEL'S NUMBER) WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SIGNED AND SOLD BUT FOR SOME REASON WARNER BROTHERS NEVER RELEASED IT AND KEPT IT IN THEIR CALIFORNIA WAREHOUSE. I HAVE NO 15/23 AND I HAVE FOUND NO OTHER ART DEALER, MEMORABILIA DEALER OR COLLECTOR TO HAVE EVER SEEN ANY OTHERS IN EXISTENCE AND A WARNER BROTHERS STORE MANAGER BELIEVES THAT THEY MAY HAVE BEEN DESTROYED (OR OBVIOUSLY TAKEN). I CANNOT EVEN GET A PRICE SINCE IT IS LITERALLY NON=EXISTENT. EVEN THE JORDAN PEOPLE IN CHICAGO HAVE NO IDEA ON THE VALUE OR THE ITEM.
AND YES I HAVE A COA DIRECTLY FROM WARNER BROS AND THEIR DIRECOR OF ANIMATION ART.

SO MUCH MORE, FROM MY CATFISH HUNTER PERSONALIZED COLLECTION TO MICKEY MANTLE AND ROGER MARIS AUTOGRAPHED PHOTO. SHOELESS JOE JACKSON 1919 NEWSPAPER FROM THE CHICAGO SUN, BUGS BUNNY AUTOGRAPHED 500 HOME RUN CEL UP TO MIKE SCHMIDT AND REGGIE JACKSON INCLUDING MANTLE AND TED WILLIAMS.

NOT TO MENTION BY COLLECTION OF BARRY SANDERS AUTO'S FROM THROWBACK JERSEY TO AUTOGRAPHED HELMETS.
GAME USED BAT COLLECTION AND A FEW AUTOGRAPHED BALLS FROM GRIFFEY SR AND JR, BARRY AND BOBBY BONDS, PETE ROSE SR. AND JR ALL ON THE SAME BALL.

Okay I could keep going on.

But one of the best items is my son's autographed baseball from little league after he won a playoff game and threw a 1 hitter and struck out 13 batters that he gave me. That was special.

Well you get the idea. Dont get me started.

Now I just have to get rid of some stuff to make room for more.
Anyone interested in autographed cooperstown hats from Luis Aparicio, Ernie Banks or Ralph Kiner:lolBIG:

Many of the items I have were signed in person and have pictures to represent the moment. It didnt hurt to be a card show promoter (small time) in the late 80's and early 90's. Had WFAN at the show and Steve Levy was one of our regulars b4 he became well known at ESPN.

I have a lot of favorite memorabilia but the what means the most to me is my son's 5-6 yr old coach team at our banquet this year bought me a 2004 World Series Game Worn Autographed Jersey of Jim Edmonds. That was awesome because I am Cardinal fan but meant more to me the fact that parents and players thought enough of me to buy it!:103631605

I have lots of signed cards and penants. But something I can't replace is the puck I caught at the last Winnipeg Jets Playoff game they played Vs. The wings. Jets won 4-2, last winning game ever for them. Loved the White out.

This is a bit weird but I was vacationing in Orlando in October of 2001. I noticed the red sox (who did not make the playoffs) were playing in Tampa. I have my ticket stub from the make up game due to 911 of Red Sox v Tampa Bay and the ticket stub is dated Tuesday September 11 2001. There were only about 2500 people there (most of them sox fans) and i got the stub signed by Nomar Garciapparra, Dante Bichette and Brian Daubach.

A piece of history.

Other favorites of mine (all autographed books):

1. Autographed copy (I got the autograph in person) of Lou Boudreau's 1949 book "Player-Manager.

2. Autographed copy of Jim Piersall's 1955 book "Fear Strikes Out".

3. Autographed copy of Byron Nelson's autobiography "How I Played the Game". I paid 50 cents for it at a library used book sale. I got there way after the sale opened that day but I guess no one else knew who one of golf's all time greats was.

4. Autographed copy of Hank Aaron's "I Had a Hammer". Got the autograph in person at a book signing in Los Angeles.

5. Autographed copy of Gene Littler's "The Real Score". I got the autograph at the Senior's Golf Tournament at Wilshire Country Club in LA.

In July, I think it was the 26th of 2005 or was it 2006, I put large on the KC Royals to win +195 ML.

The only sports memorabilia that I have to speak of is $. I don't mind. It is easy to trade for other goods. I was mad last night. Tonight made up for that.

Spooky,

Sounds like you have quite the collection. I have a bunch of nice items myself, but I think you may top me. I have autographed photos of Bird, Magic, Michael, Barkley, Hakeem. A great 8X10 of Jordan and Tim Hardaway (favorite Heat player of all time). Tim Hardaway signed Warriors jersey. Jackie Robinson signed baseball is my favorite baseball piece. Also baseballs signed by Ripken, Pete Rose, and the entire Yankee team of many years ago, but not sure what year. A Jerry West signed Sports Illustrated magazine(West on the cover). Dan Marino signed game worn jerseys. Basketball signed by Tim Hardaway, Zo, and Pat Riley. And my newest addition to the collection is a Miami Heat signed team poster from last season which was sent to me by the Heat organization.:103631605

i now can add a few more

Jack Nicklaus signed SI cover after he won his 5th Masters - got it last year at the Toshiba Senior Classic in Newport Beach

Recall the sports dailt that started in 1990 the "National" Sports Daily?

The L.A. Edition had Magic Johnson on the cover. I kept it and last year I got him to sign BOTH of them - and then got them framed "muesum style" by my friend at his framing biz. i have pix of magic signing so there can be zero doubt of the authenticity of this when i go to sell one of them sometime in the near future.

GAME USED bats from: Phil Nevin (Tigers), Mark Kotsay (Padres) and Tim Wallach (Angels) as well as a BP bat from Brent Mayne and Reed Johnson and if you need to know why i have these guys - think about where they went to college - and where i went! i am working now on Aaron Rowand (TUFF to get), Mike Lamb (promised me one - then "forgot" about it), Kirk Saarloss (promised me one - but now that he is in the AL - doubt he has one) with Shane Costa next on my list.
