One thing people who feel they're having a problem with Spysweeper can do is verify it with Windows Task Manager.
With Windows XP, right click on the taskbar (bottom bar) and left click on "Task Manager", then click on the "Processes" tab.
I have Spysweeper running. There are 2 Spy Sweeper processes you will find listed, WRSSDK.exe, and SpySweeper.exe.
Under "CPU", I see 00 for both - although they are running in the background, they are using virtually none of my processor.
To the right of "CPU" is "Memory Usage".
They are using a combined 4% of my computer's memory.
Not sure why some of you are having a problem with it, although someone pointed out that Windows 98 is not compatible with most of today's anti-spyware systems.
