I think the myspace thing depends on what part of you country you're from. Back in PA it was generally reserved for the college set. Down in the DFW area, I know a lot of people in the 25-35 range that use it extensively. Why it varies from region to region I haven't a clue.

YOU ARE 100% RIGHT. I should have added that. With gf is dumb. Co worker/buddy of mine has picked up at least a dozen pretty desperate chicks off of there and even though they have never lived up to his expectations he has screwed 75% first time out.

Forget 25. If your not in high school, you have no need for a my space page. To me nothing could be more gay. Showing the people you know, the people you know, who know the people you just showed. What can i say, i like looking sexy. Its amazing what you can do when you are tall, dark, and handsome with a muscular build.

Alot of the answers on here will be ripping on anything metrosexual when the truth of it is the guys that rip on that just don't get it. A girl doesn't want some balding fatfuck in a ripped T shirt.

I may not be understanding this "taboo"... but what's wrong with the word 'dude'? If I don't want to bother with saying my friend's name or such, I would say "hey, dude" rather than "hey, John (Doe)".

Saying "hey, bro" to a friend is socially fine, obviously... so that's why I would vary using different words by saying bro, dude, dawg, whatever else... I'd imagine "hey, bro" is more common in fraternities, college-aged crowds, and maybe among non-whites.

Is there something about the word 'dude' that implies something? Just wondering.

just think it is tacky to use when you are in your 30's or so. Has a non educated tone to it (IMO). I have and will say man but something about dude makes someone sound like an idiot (JMO). Not saying this right or wrong, just not my style. I would feel stupid saying it.

My whole point is I am not big when somone is trying to make himself look a little more COOLER than he is. Dude, just sounds like a couple of teenagers trying to be cool.
