For some people working out is simply a means to be better at a sport they like. For both professional and amateur. If the sport I cared to try was baseball instead of track-and-field my workouts would (loosely) follow some of the things Prince Fielder does. That would mean swinging a bat. And it wouldn't be done slowly and methodically. . .
He doesn't lift weights to get stronger? Doesn't stretch to be flexible which will allow him easier lateral movement? Doesn't work on his foot speed? No cardio?
He just swings the bat fast?
