Acebb my friend, I have to respectfully disagree with you my friend on this point. All those variables you mentioned contribute to the well being and success of all people. All contribute to the education, all contribute to the work ethic, all contribute to the value system. It all matters

And being told you're being held down, being told you deserve government programs to lift you over others, and being told the country is systemically racist also holds them back. Anger and hate and the lack of education and work ethic and a diminished value system all contribute to the decay of our urban cities

The decline of our urban areas can be traced to the advent of LBJ's Great Society

You become what you're told you are. That may be a tad bit simplistic, but it too is a contributing variable

And all of the above contributes to one's IQ

IQ is strongly correlated with success in a wide variety of educational, economic and other desirable outcomes.

On IQ tests that most accurately measure general intelligence (such as full-scale IQ tests), the score gap between whites and blacks has not meaningfully narrowed in over thirty years, despite gains by blacks in income and education.

Results of a study on a sample of 1.1 million students on SAT scores:

"Race and ethnicity are now more important than family income or parental education in explaining differences in scores."

1000s of data sets and studies, and tens of millions of data points confirm these facts.

Denying this reality compels us to find the bad agent to account for the inequality which results.

The question remains, what roles do culture, environment and parenting play? We can't really point to research that definitely answers that question. However, we have data points such as this:

• Germany has 39,000 Japanese citizens; only two of them were suspected of violent crimes in 2023.
• By contrast, out of 25,000 Algerians, 1,729 were suspected of committing a violent crime in 2023.
  
  

Finally, there is not a strong connection between poverty and crime. Poor whites or Asians show far lower rates than blacks. FBI data shows Black homicide offending at 6-8x the white rate, while black poverty is roughly 2x higher. Poor whites commit violent crimes at rates far below poor blacks, per NCVS and studies controlling for SES.
