First drive much like the 1st half. Utah not focused at all. They will be lucky to win.

Guys…hang in there. Oregon has 3 points. Without the one yard stop in the first half, and the fumble in the red zone, this game could be 21-3 or 24-3. At this point we have to count on the Utah defense in a big way.

I usually don't get that nervous, but I got about 18 units riding with this game, the Indiana-Michigan game and the WMU- Buffalo game. It's hard to watch 3 games at once. Haven't seen a commercial in 2 hours.

Yes Fred, I agree. At some point Utah has to make some plays and stop shooting themselves in the foot.

Otherwise Oregon will not quit, this team is ready to quit as soon as the game is either a little out of hand or a couple of big plays are made against them. Utah needs to pick it up!!!

If Utah does not pick up their intensity they will not cover this game...

they are sleeping and going through the motions. If they had any intensity this game would be over already

Lol at Utah.

I agree Utah is done. Total no show, totally blame the coach for this performance against a garbage team..

Hope they lose outright... I will hammer Or St next week to make up for this abortion play

I am the KOD. I am 0 for my lifetime betting on Utah. At least I'll get my 2nd half bet but my goodness Utah was pitiful.

There just is no sense of urgency for the Utah offense. Oregon hasn't had a defense game like this in 2 years.

Oregon did not quit on their season, so I'm wrong there. But no turnovers, almost no penalties, solid D, it's not like the Ducks.

Ducks quit on coach weeks ago but maybe they got a strong hint he is gone after next game and want to impress whomever the new coach will be.

Either way, on to the next game.

Disappointment on losing the 9*. Been following the Ducks for over 20 years, and yesterday's performance was totally unexpected. Some reasons, possibly:
1) It was good for them to get out of Eugene. There is so much negativity there, that the road brought them closer together.
2) Attitude of nothing to lose. No pressure, just play hard and see what happens.
3) There is enough offense talent to score points on almost anyone, and Utah's D looked a little flat.
4) Morning game. Rice-Eccles Stadium can be nuts for Ute home games, but more subdued at 11:00 AM.
5) Duck players know the new coach will look at film, and want to impress. My quitting comments were somewhat overblown. Football is such an investment of mind and body, that Saturday is important no matter how bad the season has gone.

Besides the 9*, and some lousy 1*s, the middle bets paid off okay. Went 8-8, -2.8 units. Will update YTD in next week's thread. Thanks for all the input.

I'm a big Utes fan and put the farm on this game not expecting Oregon to actually show up. They did and the Utes revisited their old reputation of being a lousy favorite. Now having said that, I love them as 10 point dogs against Colorado this week. Utes can hold their own with anyone despite that shit show on Saturday.

Sorry for jinxing you Fred. Utes always seem to have a few games like Oregon & Cal this year where they are totally fucked up.

O Fred: For what it's worth:.....You (i.e. we/us) have a damn good win/loss percentage covering the spread going for the year....I'll take that kind of a pay-day
any time. Thank you for the ride.........

Thanks Kap and Mack for the above gratitude. Hope you are playing the middle games as they have lessened the last 2 weeks losses on the 2 big plays.

As for Utah, They do look like a good play as DD underdogs this week. Could win this game. See you in the Week 13 thread.
