Will the averages drop as the season progresses? I hope so. Seeing QB's throw for 5 or more TD's in a game now happens every week, has opposed to 3 times a season.

To argue there's NOT more offense and more passing in 2018 is actually pretty silly.

So far this week, only 4 guys have thrown for 4 TD's or more in a game, although that number can go higher tonight

In 4 weeks, QB's have throw 4+ TD's only 11 times, including studs like Derek Carr and Blake Bortles

I'm thinking not being able to look at the QB and not being able to breath on a receiver might have something to do with it

Not possible for them to ascertain with irrefutable evidence that call should have been overturned. The replays I watched seem to show he reached the first down marker even when his elbow hit

I switched over to watch other games after I thought Carlos Hyde got that first down. I thought that they were going to just run out the clock. I was shocked when I found out they lost.

Joe Montana‘s career Passer Rating is lower than 2018’s average Passer Rating.
Goff’s 10.5 YPA mark would shatter Kurt Warner’s modern era record of 9.9, and Patrick Mahomes (who entered the year with one career start) is on track to throw for 69 touchdowns with zero interceptions, as increased preseason scoring has only magnified during the regular season (thanks to a litany of reasons, with the rulebook a main one). Las Vegas can’t make some of these Over/Unders high enough, and fantasy owners are seeing more scoring (through the air) than ever before:
